Great shop! Got me in and out in 30 minutes without an appointment for an inspection. I know that may sound like a normal shop, but to be honest I had been struggling to find a shop that would actually inspect my car because it's an EV. I had already gone to 6 different shops over the 2 previous weeks and they all either said 6 hour wait or just couldn't inspect my vehicle because they didn't have the proper lift. I get that EVs have different jack points but honestly some of the previous shops I tried just felt like they didn't want to bother because inspections are such low ticket items and EVs don't have oil changes and other items to up charge with at those appointments. The staff at scruggs was very professional and polite especially for a walk in and I really appreciate that they accommodated me quickly that morning and got me on my way. The funny thing too is that just this week I've had 3 other people mention Scruggs in conversation and how much they like the shops and how good they all were so keep up the good work guys. It's clearly getting out how quality of a shop you are. If you are looking for a good auto shop for a tesla/EV this is definitely the place. More than likely they are just as good for ICE vehicles as well so give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed

I was having a problem with one of my tires leaking air every day. I took my car to four different national chain shops to fix the problem, and after hours and hours of sitting in waiting rooms, none of these shops fixed my tire leak. When I took my car to Scruggs, they immediately found the problem, fixed the leaks and now my tires are safe and perfect. Andy Carr not only fixed my car perfectly, but he also went the extra mile and recalibrated my tire pressure monitor sensors, and he filled the critical car fluids that were low. This is an A+++++ automotive repair shop, they are honest, knowledgeable and extremely trustworthy.

Scruggs Auto was amazing with mounting and balancing my tires i purchased through simpletire.com.
They also accommodated my NYS inspection and an alignment. Along with providing everything i'd need if I was/ had to do the warranty on my tires.
The staff is super friendly and the shop is really easy to get to just a little crowded

Scruggs is reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. With their lifetime guarantee and free loaner cars... What's not to love. I felt my vehicle was in good hands and that they valued me as a customer. They will be the 1st call I make whenever I need anymore service.

Finally Found Honest, Professional Help – Thank You Scruggs & Patrick!
After months of frustration with the Jeep dealership — including a misdiagnosis and being told a part was on backorder since March — I was completely stuck. I did not drive my Jeep at all during that time because I didn’t feel it was safe.
Then I called Scruggs, and from the very first phone call in the morning, Patrick was kind, respectful, and helpful. He took the time to listen, explained everything clearly, and made me feel like I was finally in good hands.
Once I brought the car in, they correctly diagnosed the issue and fixed everything quickly and professionally — no runaround, no unnecessary delays. When they called to let me know my Jeep was ready and I mentioned I had no ride, they offered to drop the car off at my place — something that meant so much to me.
To top it all off, Patrick even followed up on a Sunday to make sure everything was running smoothly.
I’m truly grateful to Patrick and the whole Scruggs team. After such a long and frustrating experience elsewhere, their honesty, professionalism, and care made all the difference. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a shop that actually cares about its customers!

This was my first time using Scruggs Automotive. It was convenient to my house and one of a few choices I had when my vehicle had to be towed. However, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and how everything was handled. They gave me an honest evaluation of the condition of my SUV and was able to complete the work in a timely basis.

1st experience after my Aunt referred me. Had a leak in my front driver's tire that Cleave hill tire installed twice and didn't identify a cracked rim. Scruggs ordered fast and installed 2 days later. I feal good price, service. I will be returning again 👍

Dishonesty or incompetence? Who knows. Always get a second look.
Brought my truck in to the Elma location to have them look at a check engine light issue. Error code said it was a cylinder misfire so it could've been any number of things.
After diagnosis, Scruggs told me I needed to pay north of $22k to have my ENTIRE ENGINE REPLACED! When I called to ask what my options were, I was told there were no options; that was it.
I picked up the truck (it drove off the lot despite catastrophic engine failure, btw) and took it to another shop. Within minutes, they found that a rodent had chewed the wire for the fuel injection. Funniest part is that the wire was damaged right where they would have been inspecting the spark plugs. Not sure how they would have missed it...
Think twice before authorizing this shop to do work on your vehicle. At the very least, get a second opinion.

The job was repaired with satisfaction. Nobody wants to do weld repair on exhaust anymore. It is easier to charge 3k than to do a $100 fix. Good mechanics are hard to find. Will definitely go back in the future.
