Great little spot with very friendly staff. Extremely queer-friendly and supportive.*Needed a last-minute dress for a dinner event and the staff was very encouraging with the option that I found. Especially the employee (or friend outside) was extremely encouraging and positive - definitely one of the best shopping experiences I've had.*The store has a pretty wide range of vintage clothing, and I felt that everything was pretty reasonable for vintage clothing. I found a $30 vintage dress in pretty good shape (which I felt was a pretty good deal).*There's ample free parking on Auburn Ave.

Love Wendie's Scoop Shop! Wendie is great fun to talk to when you visit the store, and she is an expert in all things Buffalo....concerts, clubs, art and music festivals. Most importantly, she also has great taste in clothes. Her prices are very reasonable - definitely more affordable than some of the other clothing re-salers in town. Her clothes span the gamut from professional wear to vintage to casual to snazzy party dress to couture to retro to costume party. She has a flair for the funky, unusual, quirky, and creative that you won't see elsewhere. I love Wendie's Scoop Shop and recommend it to anyone who hasn't stopped by!

I've been here many times I know it's for "ladies" but man most of my jewelry is from here and the owner is always so nice and laid back. Always new things though my focus is on the random cool jewelry she acquires. (For the shoes the little charms on them were from there not the shoes).

I go to school down the street from the shop, and I’ve always passed it and never went in until today. The clothes are amazing with great designers and vintage clothing. I bought the coolest pants, and the owner was so sweet and delighted that I bought what she called the “Cinderella pants”! I’m really into funky and never seen before clothing and I knew I had to buy these pants! I will definitely return!

The cutest little shop!! I visited there yesterday when going to porch fest. The woman who owns it is so hospitable and sweet as well. Such a gem. I will definitely be back. Wish I could give more than five stars.

This shop is a dream come true! I was here last Sunday with a group of vintage fanatics and found so many treasures. Because she knew we were coming, the owner, Wendy, placed shoes on the sidewalk that led us right to her place. The store itself is small, but that belies the amazement within. There are vintage hats, clothing, jewelry, and all sorts of accessories in this shop. I kept going up to the counter and buying more. My one friend found a beautiful lucite purse and bought it for a song. This store has everything a vintage fashion enthusiast could want! Wendy is a total doll and was so excited to have us. I'd go back solely to see her! The purchases I made there I'll always keep in my heart because they are so lovely. I highly, highly recommend you visit this store and tell Wendy I sent you!

Wendie's place is cozy and small, offering a shopping experienced tailored to pretty much any kind of shopper. While some other friendly employees assist her, she performs both owner and operating roles for this small business. Located in the historic Elmwood Village, the Scoop Shop is (I believe) one of the first consignment stores in the area. Whether you're looking for school uniforms for your kiddos or a unique outfit for the World's Largest Disco, you may find it here. As it's consignment, bring in your own treasures and perhaps your purchase will be free!
