They price everything way too high for what they get for free. They asking basically retail price for shirts and other clothing they get for free and they don't even wash the clothing before they put on hangers. So you don't know of you getting scabies or bed bugs just touching clothing or anything in that store.

This Salvation Army is near the bustling and somewhat seedy intersection of Grant and W. Ferry. It gets a fair amount of furniture with an antique steal once in a while and enough turnover to keep you coming back every week or two, but on the whole, it's mostly old kitchen things that may or may not work, clothes that aren't in great shape, ancient records, and a tiny housewares supply. They do have a wonderful collection of seasonal Halloween junk going on right now. It might be a very good stop for people looking for bargain used stuff in the neighborhood, but if you want to use it the way you might use the Goodwill in Kenmore (i.e. hunting for cool clothing and furniture finds on the cheap), you'll likely not have as much luck. I'll keep checking back for tables, chairs, and such.

Thrift store staff wasn't very friendly. Did not greet nor thank. I was just told the price of my items. I frequent the Military Road location and the staff is very polite so I understand this is not reflective of the Salvation Army as a whole.
