I Came in to Sally’s today and was unsure of what exact hair product to buy for myself and Jill was very professional and personable! Will definitely be returning to this location!

I did not catch the name of the associate who helped me. She had 2 small star tattoos near her eyes and partially blonde/brown hair. I don't normally write reviews but she was extremely helpful!!! When I came in she said if you need anything to let them know, which was refreshing for me because I hate when employees immediately jump to follow you around. I have been doing my own hair platinum/ash blonde for 14 years now. Lately my hair hasn't taken the toner at the roots. So as I was looking at the usual toners she brought another customer over with her son who had a bleaching mishap where his hair was really yellow. She educated the mother on how to fix it and suggested multiple toners and explained the color results for each. I was impressed because a lot of employees don't really educate the customers who don't know what they are doing on how to do it. So I figured, why not ask her opinion on how I can get my hair as bright as possible. She not only exceeded my expectations on what to purchase, she knew exactly what I was talking about when I explained what happens with my hair. At the check out I asked if I should use a purple shampoo because the purple tends to make my hair blonde everywhere except my root area. She suggested Blond Brilliance, which then the other girl working (round, semi rimless glasses) said it is the best shampoo out there because it's an actual toner shampoo, which is amazing. I had never heard of that shampoo in all the times I've asked about blonde shampoos! Again, I've been doing this on my own for 14 years and I've never been more impressed with the helpfulness from beginning to end of my experience. Definitely look out for those two if you go there because they'll both know what to recommend and will be happy to give you their honest opinion instead of rushing you in and out! Thanks guys!!! Give those girls raises!

The girls at the Sally's at Southgate plaza are the best. Always helpful, kind and willing to answer any questions. Thank you for being so nice.

I called looking for an affordable nail gel light. A women answered and told me they have a mini uv light that connects to a USB cord. Shetold me it was affordable and that she owned one herself so I was happy to stop in. When I walked in I asked the front register about the gel nail uv light, I was met with an awkward silence, and a dark haired lady (I believe her name was erica) repeating what I asked slowly as if I didnt know what I was talking about, acting catty making me feel uncomfortable. (Felt like i was in high school all over again?) She then walked me over to a 60 to 80 dollar range set complete package with nail colors included that I didnt like and tried selling the package to me. I asked her about the little affordable one that connects to USB and she said that didn't exist, and I asked again, and she said we dont sell anything like that here, this is all we have. I stood there for an awkward moment thinking about how much gas and time I had wasted, then luckily the blonde lady walked up and asked if I was the one she had spoke with on the phone. I said yes and she showed me the little nail light that was literally right next to the other 60 dollar light and the dark haired lady started acting surprised like she didnt know they had them. I was happy the blonde lady came over to help me because i wasn't about to spend more than I intended on over the phone. While I was checking out a mere 20 mins later, I looked over to find the dark haired lady had picked up the light still going on about how "surprised" she was that they had those which I though was over dramatized, fake, and silly. To make a long story short, call and ask for a price, make sure they have the product because they will try to sell you the most expensive product there if you dont. This only gets 3 stars because of the blonde lady whom helped me. She was very nice and had a better more real attitude , and treated me like an actual human being instead of the one who was rude and treating me like I was just a walking money bag. She helped me pick out a color that I like instead of the 60 dollar package that the lady was trying to sell me with pinks and reds which I dislike.

Was sad at the response I get when I ask an employee how to color dye my hair! They either don't know and can't say that or want to mess up your hair and color so you don't come back!

Workers are cool and helping but policy’s don’t makes sense . I got 150$ in gift cards and wasn’t able to use them because they only accept 100$ on purchases at a time. What’s the point of getting gift cards then it’s cash for the store and I can’t use it. Sally’s been going down hill for a while now ??

You come here, to find all your hair and nail products. Sure, other stores may sell a few of the same things. But what makes Sally's different is, this place sales professional grade items. The employees are very nice and helpful the location is convenient but I have to say the manager Erica is not professional and down right rude and nasty a customer came in and was upset about a product not being in the store and how the ordering was done and she got took offense and when it was all said and done she told him to get the F***k out of her store I don't know where she gets off telling a customer like that and then on another occasion she called a another customer a b*****h if this is what represents Sally's I can take my business elsewhere

I was initially helped by a manager. She figured that the other associate could help me further so she grabbed Rianna to help me. The manager was pleasant and very nice. Rianna came over and explained everything throughly. I am normally apprehensive about being in stores and asking for help but her knowledge and personality really put me at ease. She wasn't condescending and gave me many tips and directions to what I wanted.

I just love this store; there is an employee, Frankie, that just lifts you up with his personality. He is always kind, and most of all, he knows his products. His recommendations are always spot on!
