Do NOT use M&T Bank!!! My 97 year old WWII veteran father has been a loyal customer for decades. His bank card was recently stolen and the thief took $20K!!! No M&T claims that they won't replace the $ because every transaction was considered "authorized" due to the fact that it used his debit card. M&T did NOTHING to secure his account and never shut it down when the system saw unauthorized transactions! Now my 96 yr old dad on a fixed income is out $20K! If he didn't have another account, he'd be on the streets!!! These people are the worst!!! Never use M&T Bank!

This bank lied to me when I was trying to buy multiple properties from them and we explicitly gave them instructions not to order residential appraisals and they said OK no problem and then they still charged my card and ordered the wrong appraisals and refused to refund the $2400 worth of appraisals not approving the loans for the day prices contracted

I would love to see the days when you don't have to give any stars on yelp!! Because this place doesn't even deserve that , when I say I hate coming here... "I HATE COMING HERE !!!!" This has to be the worst branch around : it's too small, only the nice security guard at the door greets you (I guess he's the reason for the star) the tellers here are the worst , they don't count your money where you can see it. They count it to their self then just put it in the window tray never have a nice day or anything. Today they're were 4 tellers plus 2 who had come from a different branch only one was doing transactions, 2 were lookin at something on a computer On was trying to walk-in in her high heel shoes & busy complaining about how hot it was inside the place. It was only myself and the man in front of me inside and o feel like I waited a very long time without the respect of someone saying just a moment , I think I will just take the ride over to thruway & save myself the head ache next time
