I connected with Made by Anatomy to do some semi-custom work on my wedding dress last year. From my first meeting with them, I knew I had made the right decision. Ali (the owner) and her team are super kind, encouraging, patient, and willing to find a creative way to execute your vision. I liked how Ali, as a designer, was able to accept more challenging requests, beyond alterations. Ali also used her design background to make really considerate recommendations that supported my vision along the way.
I also opted for the Day of Concierge service and it was one of the best things I did to ensure the day ran smoothly. Made by Anatomy steamed a number of outfits, giving everyone back much needed time. When it came time for outside photos, Ali styled my dress, making sure it was placed nicely, and when we were done, she cleaned all the dirt off my train so it was spotless for my ceremony. Above all else, she was a positive, calm energy that every girl would love to be around on a busy day!
Made by Anatomy are professionals and lovely to work with. I would choose them again and have recommended them to family and friends.

Ali and her team are experts at their craft. I’ve known Ali for quite some time in the bridal industry and when I couldn’t find what I was looking for in a cape from anywhere, I knew I had to go to Ali. Ali not only made me a custom cape that fit everything I wanted, she also fixed my wedding dress.
I had some botched alterations and she graciously fit me in with only a little over a month to my wedding. I cannot thank Ali and her team enough for the immense care they gave to my dress, my cape, and of course to me.

Ali truly made me feel like royalty in my dress! She brilliantly brought to life several of my ideas for slight alterations, surpassing even my wildest dreams. In my gown, I felt both at ease and stunningly beautiful. I would wear it every day if I could.

Made by anatomy truly made my wedding experience from dress alteration to day of services SO amazing.
I had a decent amount of work I wanted done to my dress and she understood my vision from the very start and turned my dress into my dream dress.
She also was able to hand stitch my last name on my veil!!
I can’t thank the team enough at made by anatomy. If you are getting married there is truly no better person to go to in Buffalo or the surrounding area for your alterations!!!!

I loved working with Anatomy for my wedding gown! I always felt seen and heard through the process. Their flexibility when changing our wedding date due to the pandemic, allowed for ease in the process and for us to focus on other things happening with wedding planning. I CANNOT express enough how much I loved my time here. Allie and her team made the most incredible adjustments to my dress, they added sleeves, they let it out, they sewed on every last lace appliqué to the sleeves which I know is tedious work. She even added additional support to help hold my dress up over my chest, which made such a big difference! My dress was so comfortable in the end and so gorgeous. I also had her preserve my dress after the wedding, it wasn’t that much more, and it looks so beautiful.
The pricing was reasonable, and overall just absolutely in love with all of the work Allie and her team do!
