I recently had an amazing experience with Tom Ferrara & Nick Massaroni and the rest of the team behind the scenes at HUNT Mortgage. I had a buyer that absolutely needed to get into a new home in a very short time period. My buyer started with another lender w a pre-qual letter for a conventional loan, she lost out on 3 multiple offer situations. I suggested she have HUNT Mortgage take "a second look". It was determined that a PPC (Pre-Purchase Commitment letter) was the way to go after losing out on other offers. She made an offer on a home, which happened to be listed w a HUNT agent & won the bid. My buyer was excited beyond belief to win the bid w her PPC & get to the closing table, but also to be able to move into her new home very quickly and to say the least was very impressed with HUNT Mortgage. This transaction, from application of a PPC to Close was 9 business days or 13 calender days!!! VERY IMPRESSIVE! We all worked together to get this done. Stephanie Hull with Hunt Mortgage was AMAZING! We were first time home buyers and had so many questions. She was so willing to answer them and explain everything in a way that made sense. She was very responsive at any time of the day or week. Her communication helped us so much as we navigated processes we had never done before and her reassurance gave us the confidence we needed. I was just dicussing next steps with James on relocating to buffalo. Trying to figure out next steps and the process since I've never done this before.
Lets start off with how he made me feel incredibly stupid and I had to ask various times for more explanation. Then when discussing relocating and not having a job yet there he asked if an apartment was an option. I said no because of my dog. Then it was suggested by him if getting rid of my dog was an option. NO! He told me if I was a millionare with no job asking for a $20,000 loan they would say no. We all know that is a lie.
Then he decided to tell me that if he knew of someone else to help me, he would gladly give me to them and I will quote here what he said. "I have the privilege to not be living paycheck to paycheck so sending you to someone who can help better wouldn't be an issue." Who says that?
James, you made me feel small and insignificant. You made me feel like I was a beggar and poor. You didn't care what I had to say. You just seen me as another applicant you couldn't get money from. I came to you for help. Not to feel small and of little importance. I will not be doing business with you guys due to how I felt after this one phone call.

Rob is absolutely AMAZING! Worked with him to get my clients pre-qualified which made all the difference. We found a For Sale By Owner and the fact their offer was "like cash" sealed the deal on an extremely quick close! When recommending Rob & Hunt, I explain his years of experience which means when we make an offer we'll hear the words "clear to close" sooner rather than later.
