Was thrilled to find a pharmacy that answers the phone with a real person in my hunt for a hard to fill prescription. Small pharmacy with just the basics, pleasant staff.

One star is entirely too much for this company. Inexcusably poor customer service. These people are lucky enough to keep their jobs through pandemic and treat others terribly! Unprofessional behavior and they take zero responsibility for their own errors. Don't bother calling the Director of Community Service for the pharmacy directly, because she won't to take your calls or return them.

My grandfather was brought in for aspiration issues and had to be put on oxygen. The ICU was great. There was a nurse with him 24 hours. The staff was friendly and knew what they were talking about. Then they moved him to floor 16. My grandfather was on the 16th floor for one day. We went in the visit at 330pm. When we arrived my grandfather was covered in his own s**** and it was crusted which means it was there for a while, there was trash everywhere, and the staffs "excuse" was they were short handed and cant watch him. They assured us they visit hourly but then another family on the floor admitted no one had been in the room since noon. Which means they hadn't been there for 3 hours. If this had been a childrens hospital and a parent walked in on this the hospital would be liable for child abuse and neglect. But because my grandfather is an adult, no one cared.

Avoid this hospital at all costs. To begin, absolute worthless nurses that don't know the difference between the flu and a broken arm. The staff is absolutely rude, if you can even find someone. This is the absolute slowest hospital I have ever seen. If this is Buffalo's finest "Buffalo General" has set the bar extremely low.

Hell no, just HELL NO GO TO ECMC. Brought to the hospital in an ambulance, they still stuck me in the waiting room where I proceeded to have another grand mal seizure. They tested me for HIV without my consent or my husband's consent, we both actively said no. Gave me a flu shot without my consent as well. Collapsed one of my veins, made about 8 different holes in me and bruised the hell out of my arms - I look like a damn junkie. They kept me a day longer than they should have so they could put me under inpatient status instead of observation which is going to cost me $1,000 more. The nurses have shitty bedside manner. I was super messed up from the seizures, on massive amounts of benzos and they apparently kept getting short with me because I wasn't the best behaved. Uh duh, I thought it was 2002 and Obama was President. My husband said the doctor had to tell the nurse to be more understanding and nicer because I clearly had absolutely no idea what was happening and wasn't in control of my actions. I legitimately cannot believe a nurse had actually be told this. I was at the hospital for three days and ate one meal that my husband brought because when you call and order they apparently don't think you're serious about wanting food so they don't bring it to you. This entire place is a third world country. Clearly they try and wring as much as possible out of insured patients to make up for the fact that a good portion of their clientele is uninsured. Do not go here, you will regret it.

This hospital is huge, very huge. This hospital has done a lot of renovation which makes it super clean, and state of the art. To make things easier for you I encourage you to ask for directions at the receptionist desk. The employees are very helpful and considerate. Rooms are nice and comfortable for those who may be admitted for the night. There is plenty of parking and you have valet available for you for a cost.

I had a terrible experience at this hospital in 2018 and suffered PTSD in addition to additional months long recovery from what was supposed to be a same day procedure. I was an admit from the surgical suite and treated like garbage for my 6 day stay. I have never been treated like this in my entire life. I heard nursing staff speaking of the shortage of pain meds and how they had to ration out what they had. I am in shock that in modern day America patients were forced to suffer like this and be treated worse than animals. Their shortage led to them gaslighting patients, shaming patients and making patients feel as though they were drug addicts if they asked for any pain management. This hospital is not accredited by the Joint Commission of Hospitals, I learned in the aftermath of attempting to file a complaint.I then attempted to file a complaint with the NY Board of Health and after it was submitted, received a form letter in the mail stating it was unsubstantiated, dismissing my real, horrific experience.I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Buffalo General ER has become horrible, came here 10 years ago when our dog bite my wife in the face and the treatment was great. They got my wife stitched ups and a referral to a plastic surgeon, so she would not have any scars. Then last year our dog bite her again, this time with blood pouring from my wife face, we just sat in the waiting room for two hours. It seemed like no-one was being called back, it was like the ER was shut down for the night and they were just stacking up patients for the morning shift. We ended up leaving and going to Sisters, where we were taken care of right away, and my wife was treated, but because we waited so long she now has a scar on her face. Next time I guess we go right to Sisters even though it is much farther away. Yes our dog is on her second strike.

There are definitely worse hospitals in the area so when we had to be in the hospital with my dad recently I was glad it was Buffalo General. The cafeteria has a lot of good options I'll be at not healthy ones. They have a really cool milkshake maker in the cafeteria if you need something sweet or if your patient does. Parking can be found on the street and in the ramp where valet is available. The valet area can get really congested particularly during lunchtime and evenings around 5 o'clock when people get out of work and try to. Visit.

They lost my mom!! Twice! My dad spent over two hours trying to find out where the out her after she was taken in by ambulance. An environmental tech told him where she was. Maybe the nursing staff was just too busy to care or maybe they didn't know who they were treating. Idk, but he found her. Kudos to the ET who helped my dad!!! He was the actual MVP here. Btw, her care has been excellent. She's been in and out of ICU and the staff has been great to both her and my dad.

So I've now been informed that the resident who tended to me in the ER last night at General was not only TOTALLY WRONG with what they claimed they saw in my CT scan, but they had also been told to have me moved over to Roswell Park and opted to send me home instead when I was having difficulty breathing & swallowing.I saw my doc at Roswell Park this morning, & they set my mind at ease, but I shouldn't have had to go through that. While BGH made it sound serious, Roswell explained that a large part of the problem was just post-op swelling & the fact that my body was rejecting the drain that had been placed in my neck after a total Thyroidectomy. I *GET* that BGH was busy last night, and that you guys needed to clear the beds, but be better. And seriously, some unsolicited advice from someone with NO BACKGROUND in the sciences:You might want to teach your ER residents the difference between a hematoma & regular post-op swelling. I mean, I'd mentioned that I was only a day out from a total Thyroidectomy.
