First time stopping by i wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. And I didnt! i was pleasantly surprised that their prices were very reasonable. Not a huge selection, but still plenty of options.

I have been a frequent customer and supporter of Hertel Liquor Library. However, for the past several months they have sat on, yet proudly displayed an entire collection of Buffalo Trace allocation Bourbons ranging from WL Weller to Pappy VanWinkle. I have asked the staff on numerous occasions what they are asking for the bottles and am continuously being told that they are the “family jewels” and not for sale. Not only does this fly against Buffalo Trace policy but is also an insult to bourbon collectors everywhere. Until the owners change their policy and either remove their allocation for private consumption or put them for sale, I will not support an establishment that uses the presence of fine spirits to validate their existence. It’s candidly an embarrassment to liquor distributors everywhere that this practice exists.
