Bought a 2010 Tacoma from Bill in Jan, within a week of owning it the dash lite like a Christmas tree it was a bad abs sensor and wheel bearings,a month later there was clunking sound when I turned the wheel noticed the stabilizer links were bad and ball joints I ended up replacing upper/lower control arms tie rods,and shocks were rotted out while everything was getting installed mechanic noticed the rust rott holes in the frame. They said they don’t know how the truck got inspected let alone sold to someone and that it was unsafe went to see bill the next day and showed him the photos and he said I can get it welded, I told him the truck is unsafe and I want my deposit back and the loan paid off,few days later he called and offered me $1000 I declined, few weeks later he said bring the truck back that he had my deposit which I did and he and Tim apologized and I ask them about the loan payoff and the parts that I installed he said give him time to come up with everything few weeks later he paid it off but I never got the money for the parts or the two payments I already had made on the truck he just ignored me and stop answering me bill and Tim sold me a truck that clearly shouldn’t had pass inspection with a frame that had over 6 rott holes stay away from Hayes motor car

I was recently in a motor vehicle accident and my car was totaled. I went to Hayes because I had bought a car from them before and was very happy with it. When I walked onto the lot, Bill was nothing but friendly. He talked me into putting a down payment on a car (which I should have declined). He told me my credit card deposit was 100% refundable if I did not go through with it. When I got that refund it was less than the 100%, quite contrary to the information Bill gave me. I went back a couple days later after some more shopping and told them I'd like to proceed with their shop and I put down another deposit. Bill was all ears then! Bill told me the car would be ready by Friday. It wasn't ready until next week Tuesday. Today, they dropped off the car. The bill was $500 more than we agreed to so I asked Bill, "why the increase? I thought we agreed to the original figure?" He told me, to my face, the extra $500 was wrong and it was Tim Hayes mistake and that I would not owe it. He also told me to come to the shop to pick up the corrected papers and receipts. I asked for the receipts right there and then and Bill said he had to work on them at the shop. I trusted him and signed the papers. 10 minutes later Tim called and told me I owed them $500. "Sorry this isn't usually how we operate." he told me. Throughout my entire car buying process Bill rushed me and provided me with absolutely incorrect information. Absolutely disappointing.

We scheduled a time with Dan to look at a 2007 Toyota Tacoma he had for sale. Sadly we found that he was not honest. There was a hole in the frame where the frame meets the body mount. It was disappointing that we made the drive only to find out we were trying to be sold a vehicle with undisclosed issues. I would heavily caution anyone when purchasing a vehicle from this location. Have your mechanic look it over before making a purchase. I can not stress this enough. If they would lie about issues on one vehicle they will on others as well.

I've been here for basic car washes, details, and also collision work. The owner Tim Hayes is the most honest, kind and helpful person I've ever delt with when it comes to auto needs. He takes the time to talk to you and figure out exactly what has to be done for the lowest cost. Everyone knows this is extremely rare in the automotive industry.
