I went in here on Wednesday, July 6th @ 3:30pm to get my x-rays done on my neck & spine. When I arrived I waited inline, I checked in at the reception desk with my photo id, my insurance card, and my x-ray order paperwork in my hand.Upon checking in, I was called back within a few minutes. The x-ray tech was really nice.I was instructed to walk behind a curtain to change into a gown, I locked my stuff in a locker and I got the key, then I signed a release form stating that i'm not pregnant. After my x-rays were done, I got dressed and left.I was in & out of here within 15 minutes it was by far the quickest, easiest doctor's appointment i've ever been to.I highly recommend them!

They're always courteous, and the wait time isn't bad. The staff is also ready to answer questions if they can.

I've been coming here to get CAT scans done on my kidney for almost a year now and every visit has been great! When you first enter the building, you will get a temp check and answer some standard COVID questions. Next, you'll go to your appointment. Here, I enter the suite and check in at the window. It is very fast. They give you a sheet to fill out that takes about 2 mins tops. They have separate places for clean and dirty pens and clipboards and plenty of hand sanitizer! The wait is never long. Less than 5 mins. I then go change into my gown and put my belongings in a locker. Lastly, I do my CAT scan, which is always performed by friendly and efficient techs.

Very friendly front staff. A woman actually came out of office to explain to me why I was still waiting to be called back (I didn't even ask). Issue was they needed my insurance to approve it (it was my first time here). That only took another 10 minutes. No big deal. Radiologist was very friendly and professional.

Incompetent/unhelpful front staff. My urologist failed to send Great Lakes my script so they made to go upstairs to WNY Urologist to see if I can get a paper one. WNY Urology was unable to and instead sent it electronically to Great Lakes. Went back down to Great Lakes only to be told I have to now wait for approval from my insurance carrier and to have a seat and they'll tell me when its been approved. An hour goes by...I go back up to the front desk to ask about the status of my approval and they told me its been approved by my insurance company. If I haven't asked them about the status of the approval they never would of told me and I would of been sitting there all morning. Surprisingly, those working in the back were extremely friendly and helpful which is why I give this place the extra star. Management really needs to rethink their hiring practices for their receptionist and the first impression that they are giving to patients. Besides what they did to me they were nasty to any patients who went straight to their window rather than stopping at the stop sign in front and waiting to be called even if there was no one in front of them. Many of them elderly.

I came here with my GF. My impression of the place is based on sitting in the lobby for an hour. Be prepared for a snarky (that means rude and condescending) receptionist. She yelled at 3 people while I was sitting there. Then she came out and yelled at a guy and proceeded to role her eyes and blow airs at him. The reason she yelled? There is a sign 15 feet from the desk. Everyone walks by it because it's basically invisible since it's so far away. She yelled because people were just walking up to the window, not waiting by the sign. Since there is no one at the window, it's a natural thing to do. She made the guy walk to the sign and then called him up. What a j**** The old man sitting across from me had some mean things to say about her... each of them were accurate and spot on. STAY AWAY! Your money is too good to give it to a practice that is rude AF!

Front staff is rude. long wait before somebody could even answer a question. gave us a hard time because I requested my image on CD...apparently they never heard its the law, and after a long wait came out and said they couldn't do it. they made us come back the next day to get it. avoid at all cost...front desk people are worse than dmv

Disappointed in Great Lakes Imaging. I called last week to inquire about getting x-rays for my 2 1/2 year old. Was told that I did not need an appointment and to come on in when it was convenient. I rushed over there yesterday right after work and getting my son from daycare but was told that they cannot do x-rays on toddlers. The gals also said that I likely spoke with someone who was new and did not know that information. I would suggest that you train your staff better before you leave them to answering questions that they do not know the answers to.

A regular “factory” for imaging. While everyone is efficient, the front office staff (or at least one of them) can be rude. The general attitude of the office staff is wait until I say so or else! It sets the wrong tone altogether.
