Dr. Keller is thorough and has great bedside manner. He listens and does all he can to help his patients.

In person the doctor, medical staff and office staff were terrific. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. But on the phone when I was trying to make my appointment the medical staff man I had talked to said something to the effect of if I didn't come in immediately he could not guarantee what would happen to me, which scared me and also made me very angry at this non professional conduct. I scheduled for 3 days later only to find out nothing was wrong. People who come here may be frightened or maybe having a procedure they've never had and shouldn't be intimidated by this experience.

I have seen Dr Keller on two occasions and found him be professional, helpful, and a good listener. I have had nothing but good interactions with his office staff in person and on the phone. Would recommend.

The staff was great from the time you walk in until the time you leave. Everyone I encountered was polite and very competent. I felt well taken care of and the building is clean. 10/10 for me ?

I have had Crohn’s disease for 30 years, with countless doctors and practices seen, and none are as poorly managed, seemingly incapable, and downright insulting as GI Associates. My doctor put me through repeated procedures to fix what should have been a simple problem, missed it both times - despite knowing exactly where it was - and I suffered terribly as a result. They made numerous mistakes with prescriptions, which required my pharmacist to call and correct as they wouldn’t prescribe it as written. They see too many patients and the physician I saw was among the worst I’ve encountered in my many years with the disease. When I complained, their response was to send a certified letter threatening to end my care because I “didn't follow the treatment plan”. I wish I knew what the plan was so I could have followed it, but they did me a favor by making my decision easy: I need to find one of the many doctors in the area who have the capability, capacity, and compassion to run an effective GI office. It’s too bad I had to suffer for so long before realizing. Don’t make the same mistake, stay away from GI Associates.

Cannot get through to anyone on the phone. I've left a voicemail 3 days in a row and still no call back. The PA I saw was nice but contacting them is impossible. They know patients are desperate to see a GI and take advantage of it.

Very difficult to get ahold of the office. Phones are down for the lunch hour 12pm - 1pm, which is also my lunch and best time to call. I suggest staggering employee lunches or having a call service to answer calls. A practice this big should always have someone available to answer phones. It seems the employees are already overworked. Perhaps help from management would be helpful and allow the practice to provide better service for the patients.

Terrible customer/patient service.
Most calls entail a 15 minute wait time.
Calls are rushed.
Practice is too big and impersonal as is typical in healthcare nowadays unfortunately.

After a positive Cologuard test I was frantic and panicked because I’ve never even thought about anything like colon cancer before. I received my results via email on the Fourth of July and was relieved and surprised when the very next day I was able to schedule colonoscopy for the following Thursday. Especially with the holiday it seems like scheduling anything these days is a protracted process. While the week felt long, the preparation and instructions were very doable. When I got there, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. I waited a very short time for my appointment and everyone there was so kind. It was my first colonoscopy. I was terrified, but they absolutely allayed every fear I had. Colonoscopies are not exactly fun overall, but the staff here made it something that I am not going to fear ever again. They are a great group and I appreciate them and the terrific work they do.

I have been a patient for many years and have been very satisfied with the staff and Dr Bartalone/ Yes it is an extremely busy practice but using the patient portal and keeping appointments made well in advance is essential. there policies are spelled out and they do stick to them. Have seen the NP Susan and the PA Allison and been treated well .

Continually do the same procedure even when unnecessary! Nurse got me mixed up with another patient. Billing lady is rude!

If I could give them a 0 I would. Mary J Ciechoski is unprofessional and lacks empathy for her patients. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and after a year of miscellaneous medications I wasn’t getting better. I stopped taking the medication at my own discretion and felt a tiny bit better, I cut out dairy and felt much better and yet when I wanted my medical records to get a second opinion after a year and a half of her not helping me, she treated me as if I was the most insufferable person to deal with. She essentially canceled my appointment and told me I was considered “transferred” even though I did not have a new doctor. Do not go here. They do not care about you or your well-being.
