We attended a wedding here and it was very good. It's an amazing space. The food was good, but the service was slow. For a 5pm wedding, the last tables were being served at 7:50pm. At that point some of the entrees had been sitting for a bit. Though at 24 tables, it was a very large service.

Went for a wedding. Unprofessional service, bartenders, wait staff. Do not have a wedding here. Nothing properly coordinated as requested.

My Godsister celebrated her wedding shower here and the venue is beyond gorgeous and the food was phenomenal.

My best friend had her wedding here last night, excited as she should be and chose this place because yes it is beautiful but also the food was what really made her decision. I WOULD NOT recommend this venue for a wedding, unprofessional, unorganized and no coordination/communication. From bar service to food service, wrong food, missing flowers, no champagne toast to many other things. I wouldn’t even put a 1 star if i didn’t have to.

Where do I begin with this place. My best friend had his wedding here booked months in advanced and for starters they broke their contract with my friend and raised the price of their wedding within a week of the date by $2k, the day of the wedding the planner walked out and never came back and no attempt was made to fix any issues. They booked two weddings in two different rooms at the same time and the staff that did decide to work could not handle the one wedding let alone both. The staff were not professional and basically wore what they would hanging out at their house alone. Right after the ceremony there was an open bar but the staff was only serving wine and champagne in which they ran out of in the first 30 mins. Every guest was suppose to have a glass of champagne for a toast after the best man speech and this was completely forgotten. Half the appetizers were forgotten and not even brought out. The appetizers that were brought out were stale and cold. I would highly recommend never using the foundry for a wedding as I heard many people have had similar experiences. If you have yours booked there change it if you still can, if you can't good luck and I'm praying you don't have the same experience my best friends did.

We got married at the Foundry on June 27, 2021. We chose the Foundry for many reasons. It is an industrial, yet rustic, beautiful building with exposed brick, wooden floors and romantic string lights hanging from the ceiling. It also has a dreamy courtyard with overgrown greenery that makes it a perfect venue for summer weddings. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and moved the party inside where we had our cocktail hour in one room and our reception in the other. Our guests raved about the food, not only was it delicious but hot when it came out (which can be hard to do for mass catering). Ali is hands down the best wedding coordinator and we were lucky to have been able to work with her throughout the planning process. Ali is actually a big reason that we chose the Foundry. She is knowledgeable, responsive, accommodating, creative and all around amazing to work with. I would plan another event at the Foundry just to work with her again.

Surprised is all I can say. While the building is historically interesting, the location is Awful! Closer to strip malls than downtown or any central Buffalo areas of interest. The food was not particularly festive, and the service was not what we expected. Disappointing overall.

Mediocre hotel, don't really understand the high ratings. It was one of the most pricy hotels in buffalo, so we were expecting a nice hotel. However there was no atmosphere in the hotel, there were no people in the whole hotel except for 1 person at the reception, located somewhere remote, it felt dead. Room was big though

A really great place to have a wedding, there's a courtyard if you wanted to get married right there and then have the reception right after beautiful banquet room. It is also a hotel so you and your guests don't have to worry about drinking and driving. They also provide a beautiful Bridal Suite when renting the venue
