I highly do not recommend mortgage lending with Peter P. Zabel at Five Star Bank. Poor communication, a lack of responsiveness, accountability, unprofessionalism and it caused me to walk away from the entire deal. Called to make a complaint, the woman who answered the phone couldn't figure out who was in charge. I was not surprised after what I had just experienced.

Five star bank has to be the worst bank to go through to get a car loan ive ever experienced. Ive recently lost my job due to covid and instead of them understanding or helping in any way ive received 8 phone calls since the 1st of the month on a payment. Keep in mind ive been paying a 500 plus payment since 2018 through them with nearly every one on time or early. And when it wasn't on time it was because of the lack of hours offered by them. Would not recommend. Will not be banking there in any way shape or form in the future. The customer service rep that calls is very rude and nasty each time as well. If you're looking for a loan go anywhere else

I don’t recommend mortgages refinance with Five star bank. They are very confusing with the yearly escrows.

I have an auto loan only through this bank and they do NOT allow online payments!! And they charge $14.95 to pay o er the phone!! So if you do not want to mail in a check every month do not get an auto loan here!!

The single worst bank I've ever done businesses with. My debit Card has been shut off multiple times, I've been put on hold for hours, making payments is always a hassle. All aspects of FiveStarBank is laughable at best. Not to mention the tellers & accountants are unprofessional & completely clueless in their field of work.

I was a little hesitant to visit this location due to the previous negative reviews however my experience here was great. Friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. Will visit again

the quality of professionalism is down the tubes. Personally I have on several occasions spent 90.00 every time to send them documents for the first home club and every time they have lost my documents . Not once but 5 times I have counted and how much it costs in cab fair just to deliver them to them . what was the last straw is that people are not giving the paperwork or losing it intentionally is what I'm gathering because why does it have to take me 5 times to do the same document I sent 5 times . this last time has me questioning whether or not I want them funding anyof my money is when I was told I couldn't give them a Spanish version of the same document that was in English that they lost . I believe it is a form of discrimination as I am half Spanish , along with losing important documented files I originally gave them weeks ago before the deadline date now I will be passed the deadline date where it was not my fault but their location because people are not communication as a team like the Williamsville office does. I'm upset because now their holding me and my family from getting a home thank five star I hate you
