Been getting my taxes done here for years. Had a temp from NYC there this year 2022 and messed up my taxes and others so the secretary stated. Gave my letter I got from the IRS explaining why I was shorted they said bring and and would be in contact with me. That was a month ago and nothing. Deadline is approaching so you may want to call me before I call you. If not I WILL take my business elsewhere. Truly sad when a local company doesn't care. Guess I'll go with the big guns. More money less headaches...

So I have been with eg tax for 10 years. I have used this location 9 of 10 times. This year I did my taxes with this location as I have many years before. Well I have had a small issue in the past of almost 900. Left out of my state income tax, to my surprise and eg taxes they caught it and fixed my refund and issued me an additional 800. Dollars on too of what EG tax requested. Well this year was the worst service I've ever seen. I called the location and was blamed for the mistake by the office manager. But im not a CPA or I wouldn't need eg tax right. So after a few calls to corporate I was never replied to and feel they were very dismissive. Well they record they're calls and employee informed me that they did the basic class and was asked to prepare and file taxes. She said im not comfortable doing that took another position. So by eg taxes own admission not everyone has the true skill set to be performing they work they are. And now I'm paying fees and intreast among other things. And corporate won't even call me back. I see why she is no longer on the air on wben anymore. When they made the first mistake they only offered me 25. The next year's service by Chris Fabian. They're senior level of management. I thought you said everyone is family. Well I would never treat anyone this way and certainly not anyone in my family. Im hurt that after years of service you couldn't even offer an apology. That doesn't cost you anything. Instead you offered blame. So I recorded my calls and I invite you to play yours and I'll play mine and let the public make the best decision if you are to be trusted with theyre taxes. It wasn't always bad but this is deplorable and you should be embarrassed of your actions and service you charged me 192.00 to perform. On top of saying you wanted almost 500 if I had it deducted from my taxes. Which you don't give the customer his tax stuff till the return clears. Which in previous years it wasn't like that. I know 10 years is alot for once a year services. You started this business based on other tax places doing the same behavior and now in pursuit of profits you've now joined them. Bravo hope the 37 locations were with your reputation.

This is the third year my husband and I had our taxes prepared here. We are very pleased with the services at this location. The person that prepares our taxes (Jack) is up to date on all the tax changes. He explains in great detail what they are and how they affect us personally. When we leave, we feel confident that our taxes were prepared correctly and professionally. Also if you have any issues that arise with the IRS and your prepared taxes, you can call them and they will look into it for you. For example, I received a letter from the IRS that we owed $5,000. After EG Tax looked into the matter I only owed $1,000. There was an error in the IRS calculation. They handled the revision and I paid what was actually due. As long as we stay in Buffalo I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you EG Tax!!

Delaware ave location really did a number on my taxes, I wouldn’t recommend them to any one ‘ put the wrong bank account information and two months later still haven’t received my taxes contracted there corporate office today for answers to no avail, paid them almost $200 for screwing my taxes up

We have been going to EG Tax for almost 20 years now. Their service is always good, they are kind and considerate when reviewing your taxes. They will also offer suggestions as to how to determine if you are having enough money withheld for the coming year.
