“The store is clean and organized. The staff was polite and had plenty of people working. You can't beat the prices and the cute stuff. They have a large selection of everything and the Christmas items are plentiful. The only thing I hate is the tight parking but love they still bag items for you at no charge. Love this store”

“I drive right on by 2 dollar trees just to get to this one. The Elmwood store is so dirty I feel like I need to wash my hands as soon as I leave there. Last Friday I was helped by a worker Alex at the Sheridan store. She was very friendly found exactly what I was looking for. The store was so clean and organized. Kristen (hope that’s right spelling) helped me as well. She’s helped me before and she’s one of the main reasons I drive that distance. Thanks ladies.”

“It's actually been cleaned up pretty nicely, things are much more organized and I really like the new layout of the store. The employees seem to be very capable in thier jobs, and dare I say that they were even friendly as well. I didn't think very much of the place in the past, just some dirty, little not-quite dollar store and all that. But I'm really, really impressed with the work that's been done to the place and I'm even looking forward to my next visit!”
“Not a Family Dollar I usually go to but I am sure I have been a bunch of times when I lived in the area. Just your usual set up as far as merchandise but the lay-out is a little different. Usually clean and the staff are cool.”
“It's a Family Dollar - you get what you expect. However the employees are always kind to me when I go in and the new remodel is very nice. I think having a security guard would benefit other shoppers and the employees. The employees aren't paid enough to deal with sometimes dangerous people coming in and stealing.”
“Staff is wonderful and I can always find what I need. But, WHY is that gentleman always sitting outside of the Elmwood North Buffalo location asking for money to buy a cheeseburger??? And if you turn him down, he gets nasty - I told him I pay with a card and he actually wanted me to do cash back to give him money. Seriously?! Why is he allowed to loiter on private property and harass customers? It makes me uncomfortable and less likely to shop at that location...”
“We have used CVS pharmacy at Target because the pharmacist at the Delaware Ave location is great. His name is Drew. Nobody looks forward to an injection but if you're in need of one he's the man to see. Absolutely painless and comfortable. He is a pleasant professional who makes the experience short and sweet. “I go here all the time because of the prices and they have a lot of things that I always need, and it's close to my house. This is the cleanest and neatest Family Dollar store I've ever been to, but it's still a difficult shopping experience. Forget trying to shop with a shopping cart because you can't make it down half of the aisles because they're clogged with so much stuff and they are so narrow. Also, many times they have only one cashier with an extremely long line at the checkout. But what do you want at these prices? To me it's worth going there just for the convenience and prices.”
“What a huge discount on all the Christmas decorations! We went the day after Christmas. We bought a new beautiful tree with lights attached and a cart full of decor for $183 !!!!”
“This store has only one shopping cart so if you are buying something heavy or a bulky item or two that won't fit in the hand basket you will need to wait, or come back, or might even need to go to a different Family Dollar (if you have a vehicle)”
“A+ for convenience, they have most the everyday stuff you need often, with a WAY simpler and easier experience than a supermarket.
B-for orderliness. They're a bit of a mess in there with the stocking schedule and the boxes/crates sitting around unstocked. But I rely heavily on Fam dollar for getting by so I give them a pass. The staff in there are mostly cool, one guy shares good recipe ideas with me. There was one girl that was so nasty and rude I walked out once. But I don't see her anymore so maybe that's done with.”

“The thing I love most about HomeGoods is the excellent selection of all the extras you need to make your house a home. I was able to find a few goodies. There's also a $2000 life size horse statue at the door.”
