Been cashing checks here on and off for years, just went to cash one & they tried to short me a hundred bucks. Only even giving two stars because I was able to get that back without trouble, but watch out. Never had this happen before but I am absolutely livid.

Today I called this location on 380 Connecticut St. ¨The Corner Store¨. I asked if they had a fish fry dinner. The male who answered the phone said ¨yes¨. I asked what was included.. he went on to say Cole Slaw, Tartar sauce, fries, and fish. I asked him if a dinner roll was included.. could not understand. Then I said, do you have bread? He said No. So, I ordered two (2) fish fry dinners. I went to the store and paid once I entered the store and before getting the order. I noticed the cook picked both fish pieces with his hands.. they were not hot. I did not say a thing. Before I left, I opened the dinner boxes. Then I noticed that there was no cole slaw. I asked. The cashier came to tell me that they gave me more fries because they were out of cole slaw. I responded by saying. It would be best if you had to say something and let me decide whether I wanted it. I am paying $32 for a lousy deplorable dinner. It was horrible service, and he walked away as if abusing a customer, like nothing was okay. I will NEVER set foot in this place nor recommend anyone to go. It is disgusting to rip me off in such a way. Today is Good Friday. I pray to keep calm.

If you want to be double charged and talked down to for using EBT at a community market in the community you live in choose this store. Other wise go anywhere else .

Coming from a long time customer. I've spent the last 5 years giving this place my business. I'm not talking 5 dollars here 5 dollars there I'm talking hundreds of dollars a week. Most of the employees are wonderful which is why I continued to keep going. There's a lady there that if you even try to use EBT she will double charge you and then make a comment on how it must be nice to get food stamps. Today she completely refused to take my order instead she took the phone right off the hook. I went in there and I asked the owner are you tking orders and he replied yes so I said she put me on hold and then took thw phone off the hook. She said lied to him said it was me yet the phone remains off the hook. Stay away from this place if you're on the west side in face there's a way better store on 17th st and they're customer service is amazing

The Cashier was really friendly and helped me with cashing my checks and pay my phone bill shortly afterwards!!! Definitely friendly and was able to kill two birds with one stone! :)

Ordered takeout got half my order. Wished they'd kept it. Ordered via Slice. The 50 chicken wings weren't 50 and barely edible. Got the pizza but not the salad, cheesecake or soda that was in their special. Reported it to Slice they said the clerk said I got my complete order. Told them I went to pick up due to no delivery. I know what I placed on my walker.

very rude cashier, there was one who kept ignoring me and wouldn’t answer any of my questions, and there was this other one who i asked for help because i typed in my pin wrong and he got mad at me, that man really needs to fix his anger issues. the ladies in there are really nice tho i really like them

i ordered a Jamaican beef patty which was pretty good & the loaded steak fries were bland & wasn’t as good as i was hoping considering the price, basically wasn’t worth it & was overpriced
