Went for the first time right at open. It was nice to be the only one in the salon, Linda was so quick and my nails turned out perfect. I’m very ticklish so during my pedicure I was very fidgety and she didn’t seem to mind, lol. I spent soooo long picking a color too. The gentlemen was also very kind :) I don’t get my nails done often but I will definitely be back!

My mom and I have been going to City Nails consistently for about 1 year. Linda does moms nails. She basically gets the same neutral polish, but they always come out perfectly. Tony always does my nails but unlike my mom, I always want to try something new. Tony always delivers! The set pictured is my most recent one. I love that they accept and honor appointments. Their prices are reasonable, especially for the high quality products they use. The shop is always clean and well maintained. We love City Nails!

My go-to place for nails!! ? Fast and friendly service, quality work, and affordable prices. Tony is great, always making conversation and jokes. An enjoyable experience all the way around! & My nails last for weeks, no chips or breakage. One time ever my nail was messed up and they fixed it for free the next day, no problem. Highly recommend ?

Very disappointed with this place I been coming here for years and I’ve had a few issues with Linda the wife doing my nails she made my nails bleed occasionally from filing to hard and not paying attention and once when she did a pedicure she rubbed so hard she left me with a huge blessing scrape and infection on my foot I could not walk on it for a week after that I only allowed Tony to do my nails well unfortunately a few weeks ago when there I wanted my brows done and Tony wasn’t available so I gave Linda another try she burned my brow abc dripped rubbing alcohol in my eye never again will I come here.

City Nails was fantastic! They removed my old nails and gave a perfect manicure. When I accidentally scraped my nail as I was leaving, they repaired it quickly and efficiently. Super nice people; clean shop. Will be a returning customer.

I was not sure what to expect after reading all the reviews, but my fellow Yelpers were on the spot. This isn't a bad place to get a pedicure, just low frills. I was the only customer there and according to their sign-in, was only the sixth customer ... by noon? The owner was watching videos on his phone and the dulcet sounds of "Law & Order: SVU" wafted from the TV. It appears there was one technician and they gave me a good pedicure. Who can complain for $30? The massage chair was good, but I couldn't control the speed or pressure. Again, low-frills but it was clean and hygienic.

Update: I went back recently for a gel polish change. It's been downsized a lot since my last visit over 3 years ago. The color options are pretty limited now, BUT they still do really good work, AND they do not 'water down' their gel poilish (or likely any polish). The most recent salon I was using. Told me the gel polish chipping in less than 7 days, was my fault. I am "too rough" on my hands, and I get my nails wet too often. I was believing it until I stopped through City Nails, my old stomping grounds! Been almost 2 weeks and ZERO chipping. Still really friendly staff. They still do very nice work and have excellent attention to detail. They deserve the traffic/business try them! Still an undercover gem :)

The lady (owner) from City nails on Hertel and Traymore in Buffalo just seriously chased me outside screaming at me because I accidently took their pen with me. She then hit me hard with the pen and joked about it when I told her that wasn't acceptable. What the hell? I almost went to jail..... I decided I didn't like their designs and wanted to wait and make another appointment for another time, she didn't like that I guess. She also had the men follow me to my car and watch me and try to intimidate me. I will never go there again. She's rude and angry and if she didn't have guys standing outside my car threatening me, I would have waited for the police to file a report.
