Thanks for ruining my photography career!! After 11 years with the organization, I moved on from this place, due to new staff that decline my work hours and I got fired as a teaching artist in June 2023. I eventually quit photography recently this year after 10 years as a hobby, not a career. I have now suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) the way they treated me over the last 2 years, and I suggest you to avoid this place ever, as the worst photography resources next to City Honors School. My final say to you is, Thanks for nothing!!

This is a really fun place. With free art exhibition and classes and workshops. A lab and darkroom to use.

CEPA is an excellent gallery. I enjoy the exhibits and love the location. I am lucky to work downtown and be able to visit this gallery on my lunch break when I need a bit of culture to brighten my day. Also the current exhibit is excellent and I recommend every one to see it. It is not a large gallery so you can really take your time examine the work of the artist. CEPA also offers a lot of great activities and perks if you're a member. Become a member while you visit the gallery :)

You can walk up to and see or even buy! A Cindy Sherman, Robert Mapplethorpe, Duane Michael’s, or Carrie Mae Weems. Right here in the heart of Buffalo! And they have great educational programs too. It is the ONLY Art/photo center of its kind in Buffalo.

Smh. Why did it take me so long to check out this amazing art space. The basement gallery downstairs was a pleasant surprise. And we were lucky to catch the artist talk. It's very clear that this place and the people behind it are very special. We booked our visit online, in advance.

CEPA Gallery offers classes for adults and students. They are conveniently located downtown. The staff at CEPA are wonderful! I would recommend checking out available classes and giving them a try. Summer camps are also great for kids to check out. My daughter has enjoyed every class/camp she has taken and is going to college for photography as a result. If you aren’t interested in classes consider a tour of an exhibit.

Stopped by the CEPA gallery looking to waste some time and overall a decent art space in the city. On the weekend, I found parking right outside which was convenient. I found two rooms on the main floor and one in the basement which had some nice pieces but overall I wasn't overly excited by the works. Admission is free so if you enjoy local art work or something to do when downtown and want to find something to waste a few minutes of time, it is worth checking out. The staff was pleasant and informative and I will keep it on my list for exhibits that are more in tune with my likes.

It shows a world through the eyes of our war fighters. The people that volunteer to keep us safe and protect our freedoms. God bless them.
