A good little cause here. Been past it a million times without ever really knowing it's there. Glad I had the occasion to visit today, really is a worthwhile organization to support at any level, if you love dogs.

It's more of hobby for someone. Or something they do to feel better about themselves and recieve praise? Only open on weekends. We were there to look at dogs on Monday morning, nobody around. These places suck, they couldn't make it anymore difficult for someone to rescue a dog. Some have no address or phone, just email and they never respond. Typical American idiots. I am tired of wasting my time. I am retired and for lack of a better title, a professional dog handler.

While I'm happy to donate to a animal shelter, they really should send a simple email out letting you know a dog you applied for got adopted. Yes, it does say they may not contact you, but common courtesy goes a long way now a days. Especially when you have to donate $10 just to fill out an application. And again, happy to donate, but a change in communication practices would benefit this shelter.

We adopted our beautiful Boxer puppy Chanel from BPSBR, and could not be happier with both her and the shelter. Chanel's foster mom, Mindi, was an absolute pleasure to work with: she gave us so much information to set us up for success, and it's so clear how much love and training she put into Chanel. This was especially important for us because Chanel is deaf, so she really made us feel prepared to welcome her into our home. She adapted very quickly to our home, with our dog Athena, and is so socialized and well-behaved already.The shelter was super accommodating in opening their space for us to introduce our dog Athena to Chanel, and you felt immediately welcomed. The process to adopt was very quick, but still thorough, and they walked us through every step of the process so we understood the contract and Chanel's information extremely well. I would highly recommend this shelter to anyone looking to adopt. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Thanks again to Mindi, Joey, and everyone at BPSBR for helping us give Chanel her forever home!

Don’t like that they have a larger dog in a small cage with the food on the floor of it. They should be careful on the kind of pictures they post. But thank you for trying. But I feel they can do better.

We adopted our little girl from Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue, Inc. and we absolutely love her! Everyone we interacted with at the shelter was so nice and friendly. Her foster mom was awesome and so loving to her, which helped make a nice transition when we brought her home. Highly recommend adopting a forever fluffy friend from BP&SBR.

An absolutely wonderful ecperience! Everyone was so hellful! They really know their dogs. They went above and beyond. We got our beautiful little shih poo who is such a lovable lttle fellow. Our thanks to everyone. If you are thinking of adopting a rescue dog then this is a place!!!

I have 2 dogs from the rescue, my brother has 2 dogs from the rescue and my dad has 1. The dogs came to us with all their shots and needed surgeries because the rescue covers that, which is awesome. They also do extensive home visits and checks to make sure you’re the right person for the dog and the dog is right for you. Just awesome!!!
