I took my 2020 mustang get in (still under factory ford warranty) to the service department because I was hearing something wrong in the exhaust took it to the dealership where I bought the car they said they heard it and diagnosed it as something wrong with the cats (not specific words) and they referred me to basil since it’s the closest took it there they couldn’t diagnose it charged me $108 and said “mustangs are loud” don’t come go there service department is a joke

Took my car in at noon and it was done by 5:00pm. Replaced rear brakes and changed the oil. Advised that I will need tires at inspection in August. Gave me three (3) options. I appreciate the information.

Communication was terrible. When I arrived to pickup my car it wasn’t there, it was at another dealership. After receiving my car I noticed that alignment wasn’t done and I had no front bracket for my license plate. Upon further inspection, I noticed my grill and left headlight were not straight. I’ve called several times to have these issues remedied and no one will return my calls. Worst experience of my life.

** Update:
Received a call from the service manager regarding my experience (see below). He apologized and agreed that the lack of communication I experienced was not acceptable. While discussing my experience, he asked if I ever received the quote I requested for tires. I told him I did not. He took the matter into his own hands, picking out tires that would fit my needs (knowing I plan to sell or trade in the vehicle soon) and got me a great deal for the tires and even set up the installation appointment. He won my business back and once I decide it’s time to buy again, I will go to Basil. Thanks Alex and Jake for the great service!
Chose this dealership because this is where I bought the vehicle from and it was covered under my extended warranty. Scheduled an appointment weeks in advance (and even knew what the issue was because our family mechanic found it). Brought truck in and later that day my service advisor called to tell me they confirmed the issue, it would be covered and they would provide me with a loaner. I was told they had the parts and it was an 8 hour job. I also asked him to quote me a price for 4 new tires. 2 days later, I called for an update. No return call. Another 2 days (4th of July was in between) I called for an update and was told my service advisor was off. I asked if there was someone who could give me an update and I was told they couldn’t find the paperwork. I asked for the manager and they took my contact info and said he would contact me back. No call back. Called again the following Monday and my advisor said he hoped to have my vehicle done mid-week. Called mid-week and was advised it wouldn’t be done until next week. We are now 2 weeks into what they said was an 8 hour job and while I had a loaner, it was not comparable to my vehicle, could not put dogs in it and this was interfering with summer vacation plans. Called again first thing Monday, was told I’d get a call right back. Come 4pm that day, no call back so I called again and spoke to a very friendly woman who promptly found out the status of my truck and told me it would be done the next day, which it was. Hopefully it’s done correctly because the run-around I got was ridiculous and everyone I dealt with (besides this woman) lacked customer service skills.I never did get the quote for new tires which is fine because I will never return to this dealership again.
