About Awesome Paws Rescue
Awesome Paws Rescue is a volunteer-based, no-kill rescue focused on saving dogs at risk of euthanasia in overcrowded Southern shelters. We coordinate and transport dogs from various southern states and bring them to Buffalo, where the dogs stay with foster families until they are adopted. Because we are a foster based organization, there is no shelter you can visit to see all the adoptable dogs. All of our rescues are getting reacquainted to “home life”, where they can receive individual attention and their personalities are given a chance to truly shine.

We had a wonderful experience with Awesome Paws! The reference checks and approval went quickly. Shannon was very patient with us as we had to get a bigger crate for our boy before we could officially adopt him. The adoption process went smoothly and we are loving the new addition to our family! 🐶

Great organization and great people! I got my sweet furbaby Rubi 6 years ago and she has brought me and my kids so much love and laughter!!! Rescue on!!!
