In June 2024, I purchased a vehicle through ACV Auction, and my experience has been extremely unsatisfactory. The description on their website only mentioned a "bill of sale" with a title absent for [30] days, but the actual condition of the car did not match what was promised.The most alarming issue is that, after the purchase, I was not provided with the title reassignment along with the bill of sale. I was initially informed that the title would arrive in 30 days. However, after calling on the 7th day, then the 21st day, and finally on the 30th day, I was told that neither the title nor the reassignment was available. This is not only inconvenient but also raises serious concerns about the legality of the vehicle, as we do not know if it is stolen or linked to any crime.The failure to comply with the company’s policies, which clearly state on their website that a vehicle with a "bill of sale" requires a reassignment, is unacceptable. The title department manager displayed a notable lack of efficiency and did not provide any additional solutions or documentation.These issues reflect deceptive practices and a lack of transparency that are unacceptable.My advice is to avoid ACV Auction if you do not want to risk your money on a purchase that may not be safe or legal.I hope ACV Auction takes these comments seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent other customers from facing similar issues.
