I live in Peekskill but always use this Buchanan post office. The clerk is friendly, helpful and respectful. The mail gets to where it is supposed to go, and seems to travel a wee bit faster than mail out of Peekskill. So far I have not lost any mail leaving from Buchanan. I have lost a lot from Peekskill. Having said all that, I do like my Peekskill mailman, Eric who is great, but don’t like using the post office.

I must say that it is a very friendly and very responsible service. the girl at the front desk is very nice to the costumers. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The Clerk there is always personable, professional and customer oriented. This lady is always buried in boxes and packages when I stop in and is always in good spirits. I've never before seen a postal employee work so hard. I'm very impressed with her and thought she deserved recognition so I decided to leave this review.

Window clerk is always friendly and helpful everytime I go. Prefer this PO over the one in Peekskill- plenty of parking, smaller line and wait times. Easy in easy out

I have mailed hundreds of letters through this post office. All have reached their destinations. Just understand that this is a small "village post office".

Just like the other 2 comments, this post office and post master do not know usps rules. We called several times and spoke to the post master, we were receiving the previous residents mail and barely any of ours. Today 10/19/19, we asked the postman to please read the mailbox for the last name and to properly put our mail only, he proceeded to get rude and nasty with my husband which was uncalled for. We than called the post office to report the occurrence and the woman there was nasty, when we asked for her name she hung up the phone..... this is how people are treated... uncalled for. We will call the postmaster again Monday and will than go above him to report this. Good luck to all that live in Buchanan NY

Cant read street names. My package delivered to wrong address. I'm lucky that fellow residents will take their time to deliver the mail. Perhaps listening to music interferes with noticing street names . Thanks for correcting this

The Post Office and Post Master don't know USPS policies and will do everything they can to waste your time instead of doing their job.
