I've been using JP McHale for years for termite prevention. I called to ask for help with a tick nest in my yard that's been plaguing my dogs (like 100's of ticks at a time!). They were supposed to come last week, and they called ME several times to confirm, they were a no-show!! They rescheduled for today and even though it says on the work order to call me before they arrived (because I did NOT want them to spray the whole yard- just the one location that was impacted...) they did not call me... and they sprayed the whole yard. I'm devastated. We have NEVER sprayed for anything (inside or outside) and I'm so disappointed that I entrusted JP McHale with my property and they messed it up! Never again.
Looking at other recent reviews... this seems like a trend for JP McHale - too bad since they've been the premier company in the area for ever.

After more than 25 years I am seriously disappointed in JP McHale. I have had them to my home repeatedly for yellow jackets and other bees. Yellow jackets getting into my house- NOT ONE BUT MANY. My file is noted that I am
Allergic. I had another live one in my house today and sent a video. Email message they wanted to immediately send a supervisor- no call nothing. Call centers who only say no one to assist - I am appalled! I finally got a friend to come and kill it for me. Maybe they have gotten too big to properly service us. I will be looking for a new pest management company. My patience has run out!

Manuel did a great job walking us through our ant issues. He did his initial spraying and treatment and we’ll see how it goes but he was great!

Complete scam of a business. Had an annual contract and they’ve never shown up. Filing a complaint with the BBB next. Do Not use this company for any reason.

This company is a lifesaver. 5 Stars. Forgive me but Orkin gets zero stars. I’ve been a customer of Orkin for years. They recently refused to handle a service call and JP McHale came to our rescue. If you need pest control do not call Orkin. Call JPMcHale. Rich and James and Tricia are awesome. They made me feel like family. Very professional, responsive, kind, understanding and knowledgeable. JPMcHale relieved our stress and allowed us to go on with our life. Oh, and I forgot to mention their pricing which is fair and reasonable. Thank you JP McHale

JP McHale always debits my account on time.
It rarely provides the promised service on time (if at all). I’ve had to email, call numerous times to get the services I paid for.
UPDATE: After posting this review☝?, I received multiple calls from JP McHale management (where were these calls when I needed service) to change the review in exchange for promised future service. These calls came right on time every month service was provided. I promised to change the review after a year of prompt, timely service.
This year, after scheduling appts on their app…I never received additional service for ticks, mosquitoes, or bees. Then, they automatically raised my rates - so I opted to discontinue service and not renew my contract.
And guess what, once again I received weekly phone calls from loss mitigation now offering to decrease my rates.
This company is an absolute mess in terms of scheduling services and providing prompt, reliable treatments. The technicians are nice enough as is the loss mitigation team but their service model and auto-price increases are inefficient and frustrating for the client.

I arranged with JP McHale to remove an active beehive from outside my home today. Someone was scheduled to arrive between 1p-4p. At 4:10p, I had to resort to calling their emergency number to find if anyone was coming. Someone took my information and assured me that the pest control person would call me.
When no one called me, I called again at 4:45p and was assured the on-call person would call me right away. It's 5:30p and no one's had the professional courtesy to call me back.
Can't say that I agree with all the rave reviews posted on their website.

Stay away. I cancelled their "service" over six months ago, and just realized that they had still been charging me. Nobody ever showed at the house since I cancelled, but they just kept charging me.
After contacting the company I was told I would be issued a refund which I would receive within ten days. The payment never came. I contacted the company and never received a return call. My only option is to go to court. I also had to have my bank issue me a new card since it was the only way to guarantee JP McHale would not charge me again, or misuse my information in any other way.

This so-called state-of-the-art service is terrible. It does not work. Tech said I could not have traps put outside my home. Big surprise... mice still keep coming into my home. Customer service is also VERY poor. Waited on hold for over 25 minutes. I spoke to Michelle in CS who promised me a manager would call me back. No response after three days. I'll be going with a competitor.

Been trying since 8:30 am to call and just been on hold. I hung up and called back but still no answer. just sitting on hold. i then went to the website to use the chat. While its no quicker at least you can multi task. Sad to see service has gone down hill since we first signed up in 2016.
