My boiler was not working so I called several handymen. Some never responded, some called the next day. I had to baby sit for my 2 year old grand daughter and was afraid she would get sick. I called Joe Wu and he came immediately. He not only fixed my boiler, he called me the next day to make sure that the boiler was still working. My apartment is now warmer than it ever was been before...and the heat comes up much faster now! Joe is reliable, caring, and knows his stuff!!! I highly recommend him!!

I just used Joe to hang various wall hangings, shelves, speakers and a movie screen. The job was completed 12 hours after I first emailed him. VERY reasonable on price, with an incredible attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend. Thorough, professional and friendly.

I highly recommend Joe. We gave him a call about hooking up a dryer and ended up having him fix a multitude of our house issues. He is definitely a jack of all trade and worked relentlessly until he solved the problem. He checked every nook and cranny, and thought outside of the box until he found a solution to our problem. He was respectful of our home during these covid times and I knew that our home was in good hands.

I contacted Yu Handyman Services because I needed a grab bar installed in a shower with a ceramic tile wall. Joe was prompt and responsive. He took great care to make sure that the grab bar was fastened securely and in the right place. Joe observed all COVID safety protocols. I would recommend him highly.

Joe is wonderful and I highly recommend! He is responsive, kind, and does great work! I had some old wallpaper that was going to be replaced. He walked me through how to take it down myself, a super tedious task as it was very old, to avoid being overcharged if I hired someone to do that portion of the project. I felt that he really had my best interest at heart and he then helped me see the project through - patching the wall and painting. It looks great and I look forward to brining Joe back to help restore other projects I have around the house!

Joe is a good guy. He was on time and did a great job fir me in 2017. It is now 2020 and I need him to come back and do more work for me.So he came back to my house today 7/29/20 to put in two air conditioners and as usual he did a greater job. I have to say I may need him to come back to hang my pictures and TVs for me.

Handyman doesn't begin to describe Joe -- he does it all! Over the past few weeks, I have hired him to do everything from painting, to spackling, to rewiring of electrical, to installation of a baby gate. Every project he's done for me has been professional and thorough. And most importantly, he is reliable. Every time I have called or texted Joe, he responds within minutes and shows up exactly when he says he's going to show up. Joe is an honest & trustworthy professional. If you need someone who you can rely on to do home improvements in a high quality manner for a fair price, Joe is your guy!

Had an emergency rats related smell activities on Chinese New Year day! Needed to find someone quick to open dry walls, in addition to the exterminator. Joe responded quickly & opened up walls around the radiators. Found a large hole near a radiator, he plugged the hole with liquid foam to block the urine smell! He suggested the smell should be reduced with the plug. Patched up the wall back up, costed $400 for 3 hours of work in 2 trips! The smell continued to be there after 2 days. Proceed to ask him to return to open up the dry walls in basement. He hammered a few holes on the dry walls and left, charged me for another $300. When I asked of him to follow-up to complete the job, he was not responded. He responded to ask for payment, he claimed he completed the job. Not professional in communicating and on follow-up.

I would highly recommend using him. Not only does he do a great job for fair prices but is so respectful. He was mindful about not wearing shoes in the house, kind to my young daughter and wore his mask the entire time. I definitely will call him again if I ever needed anything.

I found Joe here on Yelp last year and have called on his services regularly, anything from hanging garden lights, fixing a tenants leaky toilet, to renovating a kitchen. I really love working with Joe, hes quick and patient and so attentive and thoughtful about details and doing a good, lasting job. The people he works with are as friendly and as attentive to detail and craftsmanship. His rates have been reasonable especially in light of the quality of the work. Cant recommend Joe highly enough!
