I didn't know there is a park here next to east river. It is a small park and after long walked my puppy and I couldn't find a bench to sit so we just sat on the floor under the shade. Lots of people just lay down on the grass and enjoy the sun. Dog must be on the leech which is I like. Because the park is next to the water so they have a fishing area but no shade or anything so it can be very hot in the summer.

We thought this area could be the spot to watch July 4 2024 fireworks but we were wrong (we browsed the online information couple months). Somehow they decided to move to Hudson yards area … sad
