NOTE: This review has been sitting for several years in drafts because I put it aside and forgot to go back to it. They may have improved since then, however, just reading this again made me angry all over again so I may as well publish it. It says something when a person (me) would rather pay out of pocket for CPAP supplies than deal with it through an insurance company and (this) DME. "From the beginning of my time as a CPAP customer there it was one issue after another. First it was a hassle getting them to admit that, because they took months to submit to my insurance, they ended up charging me for a deductible that I no longer owed, and then getting that money back. It took multiple calls and emails before I finally received an abusive message for not being home when they finally called. Then it was the refusal to leave messages on my phone, so weeks would pass without me knowing why things weren't arriving or that anyone had questions for me. The fact that they were always obviously put out whenever I had a question. The fact that a representative from my insurance company (!) called to get a question answered and then told me "Wow, they really are unhelpful and not very nice. You know you can switch DMEs, right?" When someone from an INSURANCE company thinks a business is deliberately unhelpful that says a lot. The last straw was when, weeks after my doctor submitted a prescription for a new mask and I had never heard anything from them, I was told, "You weren't due yet. We're never going to call you to confirm when insurance won't pay. We don't have time." Then they shipped out my supplies...and got the order wrong. Because, as I thought, they never filed the correct prescription. More calls. More rudeness. I am so relieved my machine is paid off so I never have to deal with these terrible, unpleasant, unhelpful, dishonest and incompetent people ever again. Do NOT get tied up with them."

I was traveling from out of state with my elderly mother and needed to rent a wheelchair while visiting Brooklyn. I called a few medical supply places and received various rates from $25-$75 per day for a 4 day rental AND I'd have to pick up and drop off the wheelchair at their store. The last place I called was Williamsburg Pharmacy & Surgical Supplies and spoke to the owner Nick. I told him our circumstance; that we are staying at a local hotel in Williamsburg, I don't have transportation, I only need it for 4 days, and need a "travel" wheelchair so it would be light weight to get in and out of Ubers. He told me the weight of the wheelchair he had at the time to rent but it wasn't considered a "travel chair." He told me the cost for the total 4 days which was way less expensive then the other places. He then told me he will deliver the chair to the hotel the day before we arrive so that it'll be available for us the next day AND pick up the chair at the hotel the day after we leave. A few days before arriving to Williamsburg, I got a text from Nick letting me know a "light weight travel" wheelchair became available and he would reserve it for me. He even sent a picture of it! All said, it was a seamless transaction and it worked out perfectly. Customer service was 5 star and Nick was so nice and accommodating to work with. I highly recommend this store to anyone who needs medical supplies or rentals. Thanks Nick!

My doc called in a prescription here because he knew they would have what I needed. Mr. Bellochi was kind and helpful, and took time to ask me to let him know how I was getting on. A nice change from my local pharmacies in Greenpoint.

the pharmacist struggled to understand my prescription and took it out on me with unnecessary and counterproductive cruelty. now my care is delayed as he was unwilling to fulfill my prescription.

I got my CPAP machine through them.several years ago, and have been getting supplies for it ever since. Their customer service is top notch. They fill their orders right away, they let you know when (or if) there is an issue, and they are always professional and courteous. This is the reason to use a local place rather than online. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Almost certain that this is the only place in Brooklyn that has cpap masks and supplies in stock. I called over 20 different places looking and the only place that had cpap masks in stock. It was really quick and clean service, and I am almost certain the owner is the one who helped me. This is the only place I will be getting my cpap supplies from now on. Added bonus they were $20 cheaper than online.

My doctor is in Brooklyn and he sent my cpap prescription to this pharmacy, worst decision ever! First they are unprofessional especially Susan! They took forever to send me my cpap machine, they don't communicate well, I never received replacement parts for the machine.. but when it came time for the deductible they sure did call me.. that's all they are worried about.. money. Not customer service! Good news is I have new pharmacy I deal with.

I have dealt with Williamsburg Pharmacy on a professional level for the past 3 years. Without a doubt one of the best around!
