Theres a lovely store manager here that is super helpful and nice. I don't know her name, but she is maybe Phillipino? and has dyed hair. I left without a bag of candy I purchased and she was so understanding. I would frequent this store because of the great customer service I received from her.

This place has got so bad. Everytime me or my wife get prescriptions send here, they can't never be found. 4 different doctors already. Every item is locked up and have to wait 5 mins to get simple things. Photo machines always have issues

During my recent visit to this store, I observed highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior from several staff members, including Staff members were noticeably disrespectful and exhibited a lack of professionalism. One employee was eating an oily sandwich directly at the cashier counter during service hours, which is not only unhygienic but also detracts from the customer service experience.
A pharmacy worker, who identified herself as Erika, displayed discriminatory behavior by selectively assisting customers based on their race. It was clear that she preferred to serve Asian and White individuals, neglecting other minorities. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and discriminatory, violating the principles of equality and customer service expected at Walgreens. I urge you to address these issues promptly by evaluating the current team and considering the employment of individuals who uphold the values of professionalism and equal service to all customers.

The worst pharmacy staff ever. Extremely rude and incompetent. The lady behind the counter screams out the medication your picking up for everyone to hear. Save your time and fill your prescription some where else.

I went to the pharmacy the Young man said the script wasn't there. But it was there. I called the pharmacy from my home I was on hold for 15 minutes. I gave up I called back another 17 minutes still on hold I gave up. Horrendous horrendous phone service. No one picks up it's horrible.

Not recomonded this place 3 days cant pick up my med 2 nd time, no one pick up phone the pharmasy! Last time forget my pain med the pharmacyst!

For the pharmacy crew; thank you for always being helpful. I needed to get antibiotics for my little one and the team was very communicative about time frames and my waits were never too long (in comparison to CVS and some of the characters I've gotten there).

The incompetence of the employees in the pharmacy is off the scale.......Rite Aid just went belly up and I decided to transfer my prescriptions to Walgreens on 86th St. I did everything online and even got confirmations. I went down in person to make sure and to check on one medication that didn't make the cut for some reason. To my horror, I was told that my City Employee Emblem Health card was in fact not an insurance card and was only useful for diabetic medications. Before that, I was told that whatever I saw online wasn't what was seen by the pharmacy. I stood for a brief second and asked for my insurance card back very forcefully and departed the store. Never mind that when I tried calling earlier, either I'd be on hold all day or my questions weren't satisfactorily answered. I quickly transferred my prescriptions to the Coney Island Ave & Ave W location where the pharmacists are more civilized. I won't ever go back to the 86th St location ever again!

you know how it says explicitly on the price tag under the product at this store that walgreens rewards members get the coupon for a product and that’s also how it works for every other walgreens and store in america. well actually that’s not how it works here apparently but they don’t tell you that you need to go on the walgreens website and clip the coupon to use it until you get to the cash register and get told this verbally.also half of the shelves are empty

This Walgreens has bad reviews for a reason. The lady’s who work at the pharmacy especially the pharmacist are the most unhelpful rude pharmacy staff I’ve ever witnessed. All these girls cared about was going to lunch. My prescriptions weren’t ready even though they were already sent to the pharmacy at least 45 minutes before. Then extremely sick I had to wait around for another 45 minutes in pharmacy waiting for them to put my order together. The pharmacist is extremely argumentative and not helpful. Insurance didn’t cover some of my items and she was supposed to find other items that would work in place of them and only did it for one out of 3 items. I bought other stuff that I wanted personally that were related to my sickness and that’s when they broke the news that I wasn’t receiving two of my items. I waited an hour and a half for one medication. I am never coming to this pharmacy every again and the people that work here may need to take another empathy and relational program in order to gain more compassion for the sick people they are helping everyday.
