There used to be a Rite Aid in this shopping center. When they went out, Walgreens moved into the corner spot. It was nice to have a new pharmacy in the neighborhood, but things went bad quickly. Today, it looked like a dump. Entire four foot sections of shelving either completely empty, or a total mess. Floor was filthy. Only one cashier up front. What’s the point?
The employees, who turn over quickly, never seem very interested in customer service. And because all the merchandise is locked up (not entirely their fault, I suppose), you have to press a button and wait for someone to come and unlock the item. And wait. And wait. Normally, after 5 minutes I just leave. Because even if you do acquire your item, you then have to wait in a very long line to be served by their one cashier. Infrequently, two. So, very frustrating. When I have a headache and I am out of Tylenol, I prefer the pain in my head over the pain in the neck I get when I deal with this store. Accessible ♿️.

I had my meds sent here, but quickly realized that was a bad idea, I can’t even get them on the phone, the reviews you see by other people are valid, I asked my doc to send them somewhere else. I could hear the person picking up and putting the line back on hold. This pharmacy is a discredit to the neighborhood

If I could give zero stars I would. The pharmacy staff is incompetent at best and some specialize in rudeness.
Save yourself the aggravation and fill your prescription elsewhere. CVS is on 10204 Flatlands Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236
Corner of 103rd Ave.

BE PREPARED TO WAIT FOREVER, AND DISORGANIZATION
First off no one answers the phone, so you can't save time trying to get the prescription ready before you get there like other pharmacies. Whatever wait time they tell you add 30mins on top of it. Iv had people mess up my insurance information that made me have to come back another day, Then I was told it was only going to take 30mins, but after almost an hour of not being called I inquired and it was like they never started, so now I have to come back another again….
I wonder if you can complain to the BBB on a pharmacy ?
Update:
Missing medication twice, ended taking a lower dose without realizing it because of this ?

THE WORST ! CRISTA THE PHARMACIST IN THE BACK HAS NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND NO SENSE OF ORDER. I arrived to pharmacy at 10:32 , just to wait there for over an hour until 11:42 when they tell me my prescription is not In stock. While waiting the hour , I was told my RX was not in the queue and it needed to be typed by the pharmacist so I should wait , or come back later at 6pm, or Monday. Those were the three options given and I waited for an RX that was never in stock. Ms. CRISTA attempted to blame the workers at the front , however I witness them communicate to the her that I was waiting for my RX and that I did not want to come back later for it ( because I did not have that option ). So instead of apologizing , she tried to pull every excuse that did not justify the hour lost that I will never get back. On top of all that , had I been able to come back later at 6pm , my RX would not have been in stock still ! Accountability and managing skills should be taught to everyone working in customer services. The manager apologized and attempted to rectify the situation after I requested to speak with her after Ms. CRISTA kept giving me the run around as to why I was told to wait for an RX that was never in stock. Important to note, initially I was told 20-40 minutes , after the one hour mark I was told 10 minutes , and then after 10 minutes I was told my RX was not in stock. Horrible job Ms CRISTA!

The pharmacy is horrible. The people in the pharmacy need customer service classes. You can never contact them by phone. My doctor was on hold for am hour. This is very ridiculous.
You email me fifty times my medicine is ready, but you can't email to let me know my insurance doesn't cover.

I used to only go to this location for Pharmacy purposes, because their shelves are usually empty and I wouldn't find what I went there for. But after last week's experience I will NEVER return to this place for Anything!!!
I went to pick up a rather important prescription, I called three separate times that day to make sure it was ready. I stayed on hold all three times without an answer.. the last time I called, I was on hold for 40 mins, then the call got picked up and I was hung up on.
I went there and waited in a long line with about 15 people in front of me, I should have left but wanted to make sure I got the medicine. After waiting on this line for two hours, an argument started up when I was the fourth person from the front, the girl at the register closed the gates, left from the back and went to an office. A manager came out to find out what happened, we told her, she went back to the office then shortly after that we heard on the intercom that the pharmacy was now closed, this was around 6:30pm - they should have closed at 9pm.
The total disregard for people, and their well being... It's disgusting!! Do Not shop at this location.
Something to note.. All Walgreens locations share the same medical system, which means whichever one you visit, they can look you up and should find your information. I was told this by a pharmacist who works at another location. Give your specific location a call to prepare your prescriptions and they should be able to find it if you have ever been in their system.
Hope this info helps someone. Good luck??

Very inefficient and unfriendly staff. It takes so long to get your prescription ready. When I asked the lady at the pharmacy today why after two hours my medicine is not ready, her response was, “You see there’s only 2 people working right now”. Seriously, this is not even the first time that this happened, every time I pick up something there’s always a line and a long wait. When I scheduled online for my flu and covid shots, the pharmacist was unaware so he gave me one shot only and had me wait again for the other shot because I told him that I scheduled for both. What a total waste of time. This establishment is so mismanaged.
