A smaller wine shop with a pretty decent selection. The wines tend to be higher quality so expect the prices to reflect that. We have been going for years. Also the have a good sake selection.

Great wine selection but consistently condescending. I've lived in the area for 15 years and have tried to give this place a chance so many times; every time I come in, and dare to ask a question, I'm treated like a social pariah. Why give business to a place that sells good wine when there are so many friendlier places that do the same?

It's surprising to find a store that really matches my taste in wine. I haven't bought a bottle I didn't like here...maybe there was 1 bottle of pet-nat that I didn't like. ;) Staff and owner are super friendly and knowledgable. I don't live in the area anymore but when I'm back, I stop by to buy a few bottles. Highly recommend!

Great selection of biodynamic wines, locally made liquors, and wine selections with quirky but informative labels allowing you to know exactly what you're buying while discovering new finds! Great and helpful staff!

I have yet to get a bottle of wine here I didn't like. The selection in every price range is consistently solid and you will find plenty of gems among the cheaper options as well. Staff is usually very helpful if you are looking for something specific or can't make up your mind.

Hey guys. Can you please secure your shelves to the wall. The one against the north Wall by the window looks like it's about to come crashing down. When you look at it from the sidewalk, you can see that it's fully on an angle, and it's just a matter of time before all those bottles come crashing down on somebody. I love you guys, but you really need to fix that ASAP. Thanks

My favorite wine store in all of BK. The staff is super friendly and they have such a great selection--you really can't go wrong here

This used to be my go-to wine spot. They used to do a punch card system where after 12 bottles of wine they'd average the cost of the wine you bought and give you a free bottle. Seemed fair. After spending thousands of dollars here and having 2 and a half full punch cards I went in today when asking for a punch after buying a bottle they threw out my card and said we don't do that anymore. They said too many people were "cashing in" on the punchcards during Covid-19 so they ended that program after many years. I guess businesses will do what they have to do to stay alive but this seemed relatively unfair to me after spending likely thousands of dollars here over the years. I guess I should have used the punch cards earlier but to me its a bit of a slap in the face, its not like its a lot of money after 12 bottles of wine getting 1 free. There are plenty of other good liquor and wine stores in the area that have much better prices.Their selection is good and their staff is friendly, I rarely feel the need to review or complain but this just struck me as a little outrageous and I felt the need to post a review.

I am by no means a wine expert that’s why this store is perfect for me. I state what I like (dry, sweet etc) what I am cooking and my budget and they always have a few great choices for me

I never write reviews but here we go.. bad vibe. Rude staff. Also when I asked for a natural, organic, sulfate free wine she suggested everything that wasn't. I'll spend my wine elsewhere the vibes are pleasant, kind and a real selection that is actually natural organic and sulfate free.

The best wine shop in this neighborhood! Great selection and friendly staff. How can you go wrong?

Vine Wine is a special store in Brooklyn. You can tell that each bottle is carefully selected because they are all accompanied with a personal, and sometimes hilarious tasting note. The large selection of smaller producers can be overwhelming, but the staff is always happy to help. There are tastings every Wednesday night and that is a very fun way to taste a wine that you may not normally select.

Why? Why does the staff have to be so rude? Why must it be so pretentious? Why don't they greet me when I come in? Why do they barely acknowledge me as I decided whether to spend money in their store? Why don't they thank me after I do spend money? Why do they think they're the only wine shop in town? So many questions. No answers. I've given this place multiple chances (almost ten according to my punch card) and every time I walk out feeling like I just annoyed someone with my business. Time to end this abusive relationship. I guess I'm not cool enough for this store. (And neither is my money).

My fave wine shop in Brooklyn for many years. Friendly, unpretentious weekly wine (and cheese) tastings. Vast and easy to navigate $15 and under selection. Clear and concise descriptions of each bottle! Plus, a lot of nice local spirits to choose from. I love Vine Wine!
