“No long waits for the appointment which is such a plus. It's also possible to get same day appointment if you call opening time (I'm not sure if it's guaranteed though or whether they have separate same day appointment slots).
Doctors and nurses are very patient with you and the pets. They explain everything thankfully.
They also mentioned that you can get prescriptions from chewy when you put their details and once they approve it. I haven't had the need to try this out yet”
“Kings bay veterinarian is the place to take your pet. I have a black lab , that has a lot of issues ,since she was a puppy . I went to a few veterinarians in Brooklyn, and I didn’t feel comfortable with them at all.
I’ve been going to kings bay veterinary , since my dog was a few years old. she will be 11 years old in November. Dr max lotovsky is a fantastics doctor, he has a lot of compassion and understands animal's.
Dr max helped my dog so much, I always felt very comfortable with him and his staff.
The staff at kings bay is outstanding , very respectful and very helpful.
I would recommend kings bay veterinary to being the best place for your animal.
I always felt , i could trust them with my dog.

“We were trying to bring our 18 year old Dachshund Lila for end of life euthanasia for weeks, but just could not bring ourselves to do it. We would make an appointment, then cancel. Finally, William booked us for a Sunday, the last appointment for privacy. When we got there, William explained everything to us and was exceptionally kind and comforting. Dr. Lutanskiy gave her her first shot, along with a box of tissues for my wife and I. They gave us the room and gave Lila a dignified procedure and end of life.. This team made a difficult decision bearable and took such respectful care of our girl, we are grateful.”
“I love Park Slope Vet Center. They have cared for a few of my cats over the years. They are compassionate and supportive. Always giving good advice without judgement or trying to sell you services. When our last cat was at the end of her life they helped us understand our options and gave our sweet girl a peaceful end to her suffering when it was time. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. They also work with many TNR groups which is so needed in NYC.”

“My cat had injured her hind leg on a jump and could barely walk. I called Dr Appel as his location is 24 hours and he had me bring her right in. He knew immediately what the problem was and scheduled her operation for next day. He also ran her bloodwork to ensure nothing else was wrong which I appreciated. This is one of the only vets that I've been to that I can confidently say knows what he's talking about, is kind, and genuinely loves animals. You may wait a little longer because he does get busy but you'll have peace of mind that he'll let you know what's going on and give you your honest options. He was also straight forward about cost and considerate. I would highly recommend him if you're in need of pet care or emergency pet care.”

“Great care and wonderful staff! My dog is almost 7 y/o and has only been treated at BHVH since he was a puppy. BHVH has taken care of my dog’s common and not so common issues. My dog once swallowed a tennis ball whole. He also recently broke his toe. No matter the medical adventure with our dog, BHVH always provides fantastic costumer service and thorough medical care. They patiently explain procedures and medication. They also provide helpful recommendations re care. We moved neighborhoods and continue to choose a 40 minute Uber (each way), over bringing our dog to a different vet.”

The Veterinary and her assistant were so kind and gentle with my Chewy during his checkup.
At the end of my chewy exam one of the other staff addressed me with instructions of how to administer his medication.
In general I would recommend this dog hospital to everyone.”

“I have been taking my dog to the Kings Hwy location for over 10 years. Although there have been multiple changes in vets the one consistent thing is the receptionist - Madeline. She is always so helpful, polite and pleasant to talk too. She also takes an interest in my dog's care and is able to answer any questions I may have.”
“If I could give 6 stars I would. My dogs are my children and I am extremely pleased with their care. Both my dogs have medical issues so I feel they are knowledgeable and concerned and this puts me at peace.”
“Not bad. Convenient location. It is a walk in clinic. The wait can be long depending on the time you come in but they try to take as many people as they can. The attending vet was knowledgeable and there were 2 men present. They handled the cat very well. Overall good experience and the staff is friendly. I would say I recommend them.”
