I cannot say enough good things about Van Gogh movers. They are efficient, fairly priced, careful, respectful and an absolute joy to work with. They not only moved our New York City home of 24 years to our new apartment flawlessly, they also sent a few random pieces of furniture to my daughter in chicago and reassembled the dining table in her apartment with complete expertise. I am using them again to move some art from Florida to chicago because I now only trust them with all my cherished pieces. Jimmy the owner is responsive and wonderful. Cookie is a doll and the movers are a very very sweet bunch of guys. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

I have moved many times in my life and I have to say that my move with Van Gogh was the most efficient and stress free moves I've ever had. They were efficient, swift(as swift as the move can go in Manhattan) & kind. And they cared about making sure everything was set up properly before they left. Highly recommend this company.

Not sure why there are all these bad reviews. We just moved back to Manhattan from LI. Had a full house to cut back to a 2 BR appartment, so some went to storage. Everything was carfully packed and unloaded the same way. Had a sleeper sofa that didn't fit and they took it to a friend in Queens after bringing it into apartment and then back to the truck. Guys got a good tip for that :). Special shout out to Ron. Made a stressfull time, go fairly easy.

We remodeled our Brooklyn townhome and took everything to Van Gogh Storage for 1 month. Jimmy did provide us with the first month at no charge. When we realized it was taking a bit longer ( 2 more weeks) we called and talked to Cookie. She told us Jimmy will call you back with pricing for the extra 2 weeks. To our surprise! Jimmy said he understands how contractors work sometimes and gave us the 2 weeks of storage complementary! Bravo Van Gogh Bravo!Our family was so stressed and this helped us tremendously in the pandemic!Thank you Van Gogh so Much!The Lavalle Family.

We have just used Van Gogh movers to move some very delicate furniture from one address to another one in the city and some to the Eastern end of Long Island. All went very smoothly and the items arrived at their proper destination in perfect shape! We are incredibly pleased!!

GO WITH VAN GOGH! Moving is hard enough; moving after almost 30 years during COVID even harder. But not if you go with Van Gogh. They had moved me into my apartment and they handle my storage as well. Ron came to do an estimate and shortly after, Pablo and crew dropped off boxes, tape and bubble wrap and offered more packing tips. Cookie held my hand throughout the process, handling every detail professionally and dealing with my last-minute questions and concerns with great compassion and reassurance. Things could not have gone more smoothly. John, Pablo, Dale and Alex were as quick, thorough, professional and kind as could be. Everyone took careful COVID precautions. I packed what I could myself and left the most fragile items, all the furniture, and odd size items for them. They handled each piece as if it were their own. While I don't like to admit it, I was not as ready for their arrival as I would have liked. John instantly created a plan and a path around me so I could finish dealing with the boxes I had left in the middle of the living room. I had done an estimate with a Pod service but it would have been more expensive with none of the personal, caring and attentive service Van Gogh offers. If only every business dealt with customers the way Van Gogh does. As John put it: "We love what we do." It shows. Thank you to my crew and thank you, Van Gogh.

My wife and I had to move out of our Manhattan apartment into storage in the middle of COVID and we were thrilled to have used Van Gogh Movers. Pre-Moving: We shopped around and Van Gogh's price was competitive. They weren't the cheapest but we were happy that we paid a little extra for experienced movers. In addition, Van Gogh was the only company that was willing to send someone to our apartment for an in-person estimate during COVID. Ron made time to come at 7:00pm on a weekend (which is the only time that worked for us) and facetimed us while he was in our apartment since we were in Florida at that time. Ron was also super helpful behind the scenes during the entire process.Moving Day: The crew showed up and they were very professional and fun to hang out with while the move was going on. John (the foreman) was very experienced and has been working with Van Gogh for over eight years. His team packed everything up carefully and were receptive to any questions or comments that I had.Overall the process was smooth and assuming that I get everything back from their storage with no issues I will definitely use them again.

My daughters Apple IMAC went missing with10 years of memorable pictures ands data when they moved my items. I would never use them again. Very sad they never offers to reimburse the computer.

We made a move after 36 years from Brooklyn to Hudson Valley and the Van Gogh moving team was amazing!! They were so personable and made certain to take very special care of all of our furniture and belongings. It's a very emotional process and I felt they made an extra effort to reassure and ease the process of the move. They are awesome!!
