The postal workers are not clear when the post signs on the door or window ,and that gives waste to peoples time

I don’t think this location deserves all the 1-star ratings - yes, it’s a small post office so there is sometimes a bit of a wait, but when you get to the counter the service is typically quite efficient in my experience

Nothing against the staff, but it's the smallest and smelliest post office that I've been to. Try to avoid during peak hours so you can get in and out fast

This is a 4 star review compared to other USPS locations. The staff here are very kind and efficient. They all know their stuff and some of them will even helpfully explain nice little tips and tricks for packaging your items better so they arrive intact. I go pretty often with prepaid QR codes and the process is seamless. It's a smaller USPS without the capacity for large packages and no self-checkout kiosks so plan accordingly (the USPS on 9th St is larger and has a self-checkout kiosk). So my only complaint, if you can call it that, is that I wish it had self-checkout kiosk to make it a little faster for customers like myself and free up the staff for customers who need more help. However, the location is very small so I don't think they can fit a kiosk in. In times when they are short-staffed the lines can get a little long but this is to be expected. The staff work hard and with a smile to keep the line moving quickly.

Standard USPS. Bit dirty, but that’s pretty standard in New York.

It's a punishment to go in there every time.

I’m on my way there in a bit. I’m giving five stars ahead of time for luck. Will report back later ?. Update: 5 stars remain. All cool.

I've never once seen this place open during their supposed hours

The only USPS I’ll go to in Park Slope. The woman that works the first window is always there, reliable, and really knows what she’s doing.

Every time I come during ‘open hours’ it’s closed with no reason. Unreliable.

The lady at the counter was quite short with me. I had a package to return and had the barcode pulled up on my phone ready to go. She then tells me that I can’t use the barcode, only the QR code at their store. She tells me to go to Park Slope Copy Center. Avoid this place all together, the people at Park Slope Copy Center were great and efficient- GO THERE INSTEAD.

Took pre-paid package to this location. There's a crudely typed sign on the door that says "no heavy packages". When I asked the employees what a heavy package is, they said it was anything they think is too heavy for them. Then the employee refused the package and forced me to schlep it to half a mile away to another pst office. Why is USPS allowing their employees to pick and choose what packages they'll take? I have a legal sized box in the weight that USPS will ship. It's sheer laziness. Does this location's manager/boss not visit to see how its run?

Terrible. Closed doors 10min early and wouldn’t let us drop off pre-paid package even though they were supposed to still be open. Referred to another post office over 15min walk away that ALSO closes at 5pm, so there’s no way we could make it.
