The store is cute with lots of merchandise to look at. The line gets long at peak periods but moves so fast and staff is friendly.
Our first time there and I heard almost every order called out as campfire latte so wanted to try it. It was very different and my sister characterized the taste as smoked bacon, which I think is pretty accurate. Also reminiscent of some whiskey cocktails because of the Smokey bitter taste. I can see why some seeking something different would like it but it was too much for me and I couldn’t drink more than one sip. I also tried a sip of the mocha, which sounds like a much safer drink option but it was very bitter. If you’re into bolder coffees this could be great! I prefer the more gentle tastes.

Best coffee in the neighborhood hands down. Their beans are locally sourced and they use great milk/milk alternatives which really make a difference. Their matcha has got to be some of the best in NYC as well.
I love shopping here for myself and others because they put so much thought into their products-sustainably made and sourced. I always come here during the holidays for gifts too. Honestly obsessed with everything in this store.
On top of that the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The owner is one of the most genuinely kind and caring people I've met (and his dog Buddah too :)). THANK YOU FOR EXISTING UPSTATE STOCK. WE LOVE YOU

Whenever I get homesick, I come to Upstate Stock. I know it's overpriced stuff you don't really need but it reminds me of all the shops in Vermont where I'm from. They even have some Vermont staples like the maple sriracha. The coffee is delicious, the pastries are divine, and the products while pricey are high quality, and I consider it worth it to soothe the part of me that misses the mountains.
