Customer service is terrible, 20 minutes online because we didn’t know he was on a break…

Very small post office which can get very crowded. I needed some make-up stamps, and the wait was over 20 minutes because they only had one person working at the window during the week before Christmas. No self-service machines either. Limited selection of stamps, both make-up (no 10 cent stamps that day apparently) and forever ones. The other post office in Bay Ridge on 5th Avenue seems to run better than this one, but sometimes I have to come here when nearby.

I had a very good experience here! The staff member who helped me (Victor) was really helpful and took the time to explain my international post options and how to fill out all the forms etc. It was very quiet when I went but given the store is so small, it can get busy very quickly so come early!

The postal station on 68th street and 4th Ave, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn does not close at 5pm. This has happened to me and others several times. They lock the doors at 4:56pm, 4:58pm and 4:59pm. It’s not 5pm as the sign on the door and on line states. The manager needs to be make sure they are providing the service. This is another reason why people do not frequent the post office. Very disappointing.

Lost package left at drop off window. They never scanned. Appear to have history of theft. Opening a case with the postal inspectors. Please avoid this branch.

The line was long when I entered, and long when I left. Normally there’s only one person working.. long line and all. The employee that serviced me was helpful, no disrespect to them. But to find out that my package would take 3-4 weeks to be picked up to be sent to a larger USPS Facility, after standing in this line was saddening.I would not recommend this location. Only if you’re dropping off and literally leaving right after. This location is very small and just doesn’t make any sense to be honest. Better off going to the one up by 86th.

I went today (12/23/22) to drop off prepaid returns and I was told by a gentleman that my packages would be delayed for 30 days. I thought this was odd, however, I left and went to another USPS location. I dropped off my packages there and explained what happened to the woman helping me and she was furious. She told me that I was the 5th customer of the day with the same story. She said that the gentleman was lying and turning away customers for no reason. DO NOT GO HERE!

I went today, November 25, 2022. There was this Asian gentleman who was amazing and sweet. Unfortunately I didn’t get him. I got his rude coworker. I asked if he could tape my box and he rudely said out of courtesy he’s doing it but it’s my job to buy tape and tape it. LOL I’m a school teacher and I should say that to my students when I give them supplies I pay for. My taxes for the tape at the post office. You don’t pay for the school supplies I give to students. He’s a bitter old man and I hope people treat him the way he treats others.

dont support this USPS location. terrible, horrible staff and extremely uncaring and unhelpful. They lose packages all the time and always have a line, the wait is ridiculously long, and the workers don’t care they’ll take the whole day just to do one single task. just don’t bother wasting your time at this location. also don’t ship items out unless you put the exact weight on the label. If not, you’re gonna have to go back home to make another label to pay an extra grand price of $0.01 to get that weight to exactly what it’s supposed to be.
