Amazing spot! Came across this gem walking to dinner. Alex so helpful in finding my partner and I some duel games and party games! They have a huge variety of unique and exciting games. 10/10

Stopped in on the recommendation of the Multitude podcast collective, and it did not disappoint. Alex was so helpful and helped me find so many games I want to try in the future (sadly, budgetary and baggage limitations kept me from getting ALL of them). Great local spot with lots of programming for green and seasoned gamers alike!Thank you Alex for your help with dice and RPGs! I’m excited to check out the discord community and look forward to the next time I can visit!

I came in last weekend with my 9-year old daughter on a lark after visiting Brooklyn for the first time in years. We play board games in the family and we got a expansion, and saw a worker-placement game with great theming, and went to buy both. The staff person was nice, but then tried to upsell us on a 1000-piece puzzle, which was not something we wanted, as well as cute-looking RPG which looks great for kids. Unfortunately, we didn't have the money, and the salesperson seemed disappointed. We paid the $100+ for our products, and I even tipped the salesperson.When we were leaving, I asked if we could use the restroom. Anyone with kids knows that finding a restroom is hard sometimes. I was told there was none, and he moved along to the next person. I saw the bathroom door open, so either it was a lie, or it was closed to all but employees. I read reviews of this space on yelp and found out they do have restrooms available, with amazing reviews (spotless, clean, etc.)Ultimately the space is not particularly friendly to people with children, there are aggressive sales tactics, and there may be dishonest and harmful behavior from some staff. A disappointing experience and I won't be returning.

Amazing store, the staff were so friendly and knew their stuff! I got some great recommendations when I was unsure of what I wanted and the games that came with pdfs were emailed to me immediately, I did not need to request them.One game I wanted was out of stock but they checked when it would be back and sent me an email next day the moment it came in, really could not have had a better experience!

Twenty Sided is an amazing store and certainly one of the best places to buy games in NYC. It’s so wonderful that they’ve expanded to have a separate events space - especially as lots of cool spots in Williamsburg have downsized or closed.
