Great and friendly hardware store. Super fast key copies. Plenty of tools, hardware, and lots of other random things. It's a little tight and there's tons of stuff, so if you can't find something ask the guys behind the counter.

Great hardware store. At first glance it's small and tight and doesn't look like they have alot of options. But I told them what I needed and they came through! I'm going back for all of my hardware needs.

I came by in the evening to have keys cut.* They were friendly, fast, and inexpensive. I'm glad to support a local business that manages to cram stuff into every nook and cranny of the store. *And yes, of course the keys work.

Terrible customer service.I ask for things, they tell me they don't have them and then I find them myself. This has happened multiple times.

I went to Three Brothers Hardware on Franklin Av near Union Street on Saturday 1/8/2022 to purchase a light bulb socket adapter with a pull chain switch. They carry the product. I went to the other hardware store (which shall remain nameless) for the aforementioned item and the guy at the counter said it would be available within the next week. So far my experience with Three Brothers Hardware has been very positive.And yes, this is my honest review of said establishment!

I got a key made at the store and it didn’t work. I went back and asked the guy behind the counter to fix it. He gave me back the keys and I soon discovered that now both the original and the replicated key didn’t work. I went back angry and instead of accepting that there may be a mistake, he immediately dismissed my issue saying there was no way he made a mistake. I yelled out of frustration in response to which he threw my keys out the door and asked me to get out or he would call the cops. Shocked I tried to calm him down but he didn’t listen and kept yelling. Fortunately the other person at the store was human and offered to look at the key again only to find that they had indeed made a mistake. I will NEVER go back to this store and neither should you unless you want to deal with an aggressive, incompetent person (or at least I hope you get the other guy)

Believe me, if I could negative stars...I would without a question. I went in and needed dry wall anchors, but wasn't sure the size I needed. The owner, who lazily sat on a stool at first refused to get up to help me and said "go look over there." After doing me the incredible favor of actually doing his job, he finally does. He then patronizes me and tells me "why don't you know what you need?" Unbelievably rude and condescending. He then tried to insult me by saying I was gay. Homophobia has no place in this city and I urge you to not shop here. Mayday Hardware is over on Washington Ave. It's a 5 minute walk from there, but owner isn't a rude bigot. He should be ashamed of himself.

Got copy’s of my key here, three to be exact and they didn’t work. Went to return it with the receipt and I even showed them my purchase on my bank account and they still didn’t help me, even after I asked if I could return the keys when I first purchased them and they told me that I could if it was within 30 days. I literally went there two days later. Had to wait while the men went back and forth deciding what to do with my keys, eventually I just left the keys there without a refund or a set of actual working keys. Horrible service.
