Great space for birthday

The Kiddo I take here loves this place! The general vibe is pleasant & very low key, no loud machines, or mechanical devices, not crowded (at least anytime we’ve been), and full of fun activities for toddlers and small children (I believe ages 1-6yr). There’s a bigger soft square foam pit, a tiny semi-circle ball pit, a little, hidden Lego room, grocer’s counter w plastic, foam & wooden fruits & veggies, complete with nearby mini-kitchen & dining area. Also there’s a larger play area with interactive toys to climb and scoot on, a big treehouse w a slide… and of course the obligatory hanging, cloth chair-swings (2).Overall, it’s a small place but unlike most kid’s spaces, there is a lot of natural light bc it’s ground level & and wall of windows on one side— making the entire place feel very cozy & sweet. And there’s even a good selection of books to read in or OUTside of the play space. Before you enter the ‘socks only area’ is a section that has chairs & tables. (We like to read a story in one of the comfy chairs after we put our shoes back on & before we leave.)FYI I’d suggest packing drinks & snacks bc whilst there are a variety for purchase, prices are high per usual.Finally, the staff is delightful!! The woman who’s usually working in the weekday afternoons, just couldn’t be kinder and is very flexible about the time allowances if it isn’t busy!

We just hosted our daughter's second birthday and the Play Lab team did SUCH an amazing job. We rented out the whole space and they set up every single detail - from the decorations, to the food, to the goody bags. Everything was seamless and the kids had the best time. The space is perfect because the kids can run around while the adults can always see them and not have to worry. And the party room looked so great. Highly recommend!

I am a preschool teacher in the neighbor school and I love to take my students to the playLab. They love the place and they enjoy the sensory bins at disposal. The staff is super helpful and friendly and it is a very clean and safe space for young children.

Horrible place ! The owner is not professional. We went to a cookie decorating workshop this week and This so-called workshop was an absolute joke! They couldn't even manage to provide enough icing for each kid, and the so-called "toppings" were just thrown on the table in plastic bags like an afterthought. The kit looked like it came straight from a discount store, costing less than 20$. There weren't even sufficient chairs. All that for 60$ ! Do yourself a favor, there are much nicer play spaces in the area like twinkle Playspace or Space (newly opened)

Came here for a respite from the air quality alert outdoors and unfortunately we arrived before their “open to the public” times as there are classes in the space from 9:15-10am. As we were leaving, the owner came outside and welcomed us to come join the French class free of charge; she was so kind and sweet to offer but we ended up paying and joining the class and playing afterwards. She felt so badly we came all the way to have to turn around and go home with the smoke conditions outside. We really appreciate her kindness; it is rare to encounter such a generous business owner in this neighborhood! Thank you, Magda!

Love this space - our daughter has a great time when she’s there. Beautifully set up, calming, and clean, with lots for her to do. We also have her attending “French for Little Ones” and it is a delightful class!

It's a place for children to play, but it's so messy and dirty. Places with block toys are full of dust and trash.

Love this space. My daughter comes twice a week and it has been such a godsend with the cold weather. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the play space itself is fun, beautifully laid out and extremely clean. A real asset to the neighborhood.

We enrolled my son in the summer camp program he absolutely loved it! I found it to be very high quality. In addition to open play, they also arrange activities like music, art, dance, fitness etc so the children have a perfect combination of open play + structured activity. I have to call out two of the teachers- Haajar and Margaret- for their exceptional care and demeanor. We have another one on the way and I hope this program is still around in a few years, but in the meantime, we will definitely be back for open play throughout the year! Thank you Margaret, Haajar and the rest of the wonderful staff for such a great experience!

The birthday parties here are wonderful- the space is so beautiful and the children go wild and love it! It’s a magical space: clean, friendly and so much fun for birthdays or play dates!

The best place for birthday parties! Paulina and her team were excellent to work with from the beginning. She was very accessible and accommodating from the get go. The venue is excellent - amazing play area, nice natural light, kept super clean and neat. Everything was organized by them and it was just so easy to have a good time. Highly recommend them for your kiddo's next event.
