The place is clean and safe to WASH YOUR OWN CLOTHES. If you leave your clothes there they will lose them or rob you. My best friend left his designer clothes there and they try to steal it saying they couldn’t find it. When he went and got the receipts of how much he paid for the clothes they went and found it cause he didn’t think he kept receipts. The owner didn’t wanna pay to replace the designer items, so “all of a sudden” the clothes show up after only 45-a hour of looking. He never used that cleaners again… me on the other hand I still trusted them cause they never lost anything of value of mines.
They just recently lost my Monclair and told me it’s nothing he can do for me cause I lost my receipt to prove I felt the coat there. Believe the people in the comments when they speak about the Dry cleaning services. It’s horrible and any given opportunity they will steal your clothes. They will threaten you with police when they feel like you going to make a scene for your belongings. If you go there wash your clothes and leave. To be honest the Laundry Mat on Tompkins between Pulaski and Hart street is a WAYYYY better opinion to wash your clothes. If you need cleaners services, definitely don’t use this place. Go to the Chinese guys up the block. That’s honestly where I should’ve went ?
This is in response to his comment: First of all he’s very rude and disrespectful. Second of all, I already went and brought a new coat so I don’t have to scam anyone. I wasn’t expecting to spend the extra money. Third of all you right let the customers reflect your services. My best friend didn’t lie about you trying to steal his clothes cause I saw it. These other customers in the comments ain’t lying either. Y’all lost my coat and instead of dealing with me like a human you talk to me crazy and tried to rush me off the phone. Then when I said I’m from the area I’ll will come there to talk you threaten to call the police if I showed up. But I brought a new coat and already started to take actions. You can try to defend your actions all you want. I was just there earlier this year to pick up a sweater and that’s not in your files or on records. But I have the jeans and the sweater that I picked up earlier this year? Something is wrong with your computer system. To the reader LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. You’ve been warned not just by me but other in the comments just like me. Just read the comments before I ever made a review.

Yeah, I’d listen to these people about the dry cleaning in the comments. They’re definitely horrible at dry cleaning. I never cashed clothes there. But they destroyed my children’s belongings years ago. I never went bad and just took it as a learning experience and a lost. If you still decide to leave you dry cleaning there, do that at your own risk, cause boy… When I say never again I mean Never ever again.

Do not recommend sending your dry cleaning here especially if you have delicate materials or details on the garments. They have an offsite dry cleaner that they send the clothes to, and it seems that the company is unable to do certain materials and pretty careless with their services. They could not clean my leather jacket. A handmade top was returned with the original stains still on it and several new stains. A suede top looked as if it did not get cleaned at all. The stains were still very visible. A third top was returned smelling bad, almost like an unfamiliar body odor. They also gave me someone else’s shirt which I caught and returned. It would be best to take your items to a location that has an onsite dry cleaner, as they will have the knowledge and more care for your items.

If you have clothing items that are fragile or of value to you, do not get them dry cleaned here. they send it out to a service that is careless. take it somewhere they do it on-site where there is accountability for their business.
I gave a vintage 100% silk set (that belonged to my mother, from the 80s) to be dry cleaned and they discolored the entire top and safety pinned the skirt to the paper hanger, putting two holes in it. In addition to this, none of the stains had been removed.
The person behind the desk was helpful and reached out to the owner for me. The owner did call me and pay me a make-good fee as I had been a longtime customer, which was appreciated. However, despite being the one who offered to pay me the make-good fee, he gave me quite an attitude about it.
He tried to tell me that places that pay make-good fees typically keep the item and I was lucky he wasn’t doing that, which is total nonsense. This isn’t a clothing store, it’s a dry clean service. And you’re not buying my item off me, you’re paying me a make-good fee (which you offered to do) as an apology for ruining my item.
Anyway, it was an unfortunate situation and I do not recommend giving items for dry cleaning here if they are precious to you.
EDIT: in response to the owner's comment -
this has happened many times with your dry clean provider (as evident by other comments on here) and you still choose to use them. That is not an unforeseen circumstance. I wish I had checked the reviews here before bringing my item to be dry cleaned.
You offered and asked me for an amount, I did not demand anything. only once I told you $100 (which is less than what my item is worth), you claimed that because it's "worn" it's worth $50. Why would I bring a brand new, unworn new item to be dry cleaned? Why would you even offer?
Any gesture of goodwill you tried to make was overshadowed by how condescending and defensive you were, which is evident in your response here as well.

Laundry Hub drop-off is always seamless and friendly. They work with you to wash/dry/fold with your schedule and is almost always ready either next day or 2 days. The price is also among the lowest in the area! I’ll definitely keep dropping my clothes off at Laundry Hub.

Good place for drop off/pick up laundry. I do not recommend sending your dry cleaning here. As someone who's parents owned a dry cleaners, the drop off dry cleaner service can't seem to remove oil stains and make up on cotton clothes (which, you can). One of my dress shirts came with more stains on the back of it!!! Do not do dry cleaning drop off here.

I deeply regret letting them wash my clothes.
They all came back burnt, the prints on my t-shirts faded and peeling, my towels are now hard.. lost a lot of quality and integrity on my items. I feel wronged. Beware when letting them handle your items.

I gave it 3 stars only because the washing machine lacks water. The place is clean and has plenty of washing machines and dryers. However, the wash has very little water, leaving the clothes soapy. The spinning is not strong to remove excess water. I gave it a second chance and still the same. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

The Laundry Hub does a great job! Super friendly and professional. They picked up my laundry and returned it the next day smelling clean and neatly folded. Very sweet people too. They called me telling me a pair of my pants had ripped in the wash and they mended them for me. Highly recommend!

Been here three times now, enough that I feel solid about my review. The owner, who works during the week, is a sweetheart - like all have said before. However! The woman who works on the weekends (I’ve been in Saturday and Sunday to drop off and pick up dry cleaning) is giving some of the worst customer service in NYC. She doesn’t respond to hello, thank you, etc, and looks insanely annoyed by having to work the register or take clothes for cleaning. Her attitude makes me really reconsider going elsewhere, or avoiding the place entirely on the weekend.

This is my favorite laundry spot in the neighborhood! I am always greeted by Antonia with a smile and warm welcome. She helps me with any questions I have and also we just have great conversations! It’s a clean spot with machines that actually clean your clothes and the dryers work fast/efficiently. They also have drop off service, dry cleaning, and even tailoring!Thank you to Antonia for making every visit great!
