Brooklyn Heights flashback.. don't you just love those? I was speaking to a friend about this store just recently and had to write a review.. Why?? In a galaxy far far away.. Fawn's first apartment was in Brooklyn Heights on Orange Street. How I loved living on Orange Street; a block away from the Promenade. The other famous fruit street is Cranberry. You all know that street: Cher's character in Moonstruck was kicking a can after spending the night with Nicholas Cage? Yes, that Cranberry Street. But, I digress.. Brooklyn Heights back then had great restaurants and shops on Montague Street. Back then there was Banana Republic, Gap, Anne Taylor.. But Tango was "the" place to shop for designer merchandise.. When I first moved to the Heights everyone had a Longchamp bag, Le Pliage to be exact, ( their famed canvas and Russian cowhide bag) and I wanted one. I was told Tango carried that brand. Thus, I entered into this charming boutique and surveyed the goods. Beautifully merchandised and very personable staff.. and then I found it! My Longchamp bag: it was the small Le Pliage in meadow green and I took one look and it was MINE! I love green and it was perfect! I was so stoked! Tango carries numerous designer apparel, shoes and handbags. I believe the owner owns the building. I shopped there numerous times and in fact my second important purchase was a pair of Sigerson Morrison sandals! Tango is still located on beautiful Montague Street and it's worth stopping in. Tango, thank you for the lovely service and assortment of fine designer items.

Stood in front of this store in the shade on a hot day under the scaffolding for 2 minutes. Owner came and threatened me with physical violence if I didn’t move saying he would have some guys come f me up. Also witnessed him be rude to others and neighboring businesses. Rude and miserable old fool.

Cute clothing store-in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. The styles range from classics to causal wear which is perfect. The store is set up physically well making it easy to shop away.

Honestly surprised this place is still in business. The sales people are so rude and pushy. I sometimes go in just to see if they've changed and unfortunately they never do. It's quite sad how miserable they all seem.

NO ! NO ! NO ! DO NOT THINK ABOUT WASTING MONEY HERE PLEASE I made a cash purchase at this store in October of 2016. On this day they were keeping records in a notebook. Idk if their systems were down or what their issue was. Now that there is normal wear and tear on my Mackage 3 years later, I want to send it into the company for them to repair it. I contacted Tango and all the CONDESCENDING DISRESPECTFUL "owner" JESSICA could say is that there is no record and she has no idea how to retrieve the transaction. No helpfulness, no additional suggestions on what could be done or even how she can maybe of assistance. I WOULD NOT EVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME HERE! YOU ARE IN BROOKLYN ! All Jessica had to say to me was, "If you bought it here we would have a record." Then she proceeds to say, "In all the years we've sold Mackages we have never had repairs needed." I told her I didn't call for them to do a repair only regarding assisting me get proof of purchase. Her response was "Well when you find proof of purchase you can call then I have to go" Jessica that was a clown like response as a shop owner. I would not ever lie about an asinine coat but you better believe I will let as many people as possible know NOT TO EVER SHOP HERE. NOBODY ASKED YOUR SHOP TO REPAIR ANYTHING because I can send the coat directly to MACKAGE. I pray to God you and your shop suffer and encounter every obstacle, ill comment and ignorant mindset you put forth! No love ! Take your crap to Manhattan... Brooklyn MAYBE gentrified but I'm not here for you. #BEATIT

Excellent boutique. Beautiful clothes- some brands that you don't see other places. The clothes are not cheap- but they are well made and will last for more than one season. Especially good for professional work clothes.

I LOVE this boutique! Amazing staff, super helpful and inviting, and unparalleled selection of high end designers for evening wear, as well as chic vacation/holiday outfits. I came here with two girlfriends and was greeted with champagne and a personal assistant who styled my vacation look for Coachella weekend. Highly recommend it for a fun girls day of shopping and dinner/drinks nearby
