Why some of the cashiers are so rude? They have off-the-wall conversations even using the N-word over and over while people are checking out . No respect for themselves or others around them . We have ears Hellllooo !!! Usually late night while the cats away the mice will play . I know these are some young people, but have respect for people around you no one should have to endure your conversations . Night supervisors need to be retrained . This needs to be stopped. I’m very irritated by it I try to stay out of it and mind my business . But they make it my business to continue with these loud conversations talking about sex to using the N-word, etc.So it won’t escalate I just move along . it seems like they do this around certain people . There’s another cashier she’s very rude. Got her nose in the air. Female with box braids . . . She has a very nasty attitude, stink face. You’re in the wrong business to deal with customer service.. She’s not pleasant at or and not polite Slamming and throwing your food waiting to get a spark out of you .She can’t be nice even if she try . They should be properly trained how to deal with the public She seem like she don’t want to be there . Go work from home or something. if you’re gonna have a nasty stink attitude. And it seems like they pick and choose who they would like to greet. Mainly towards BW ,stink, and nasty attitude. I sit back and take notes . she’s not the only one . I got to give it to you. There are some great cashiers and very friendly nice and humble . I know they’re will be a few bad apples out a bunch .. it’s called Customer service . I hope the CEO looks at this post .But it seems to just go on deaf ears like they don’t care who they hire . I don’t want to see anyone out of A Job but if you’re intimidating people you’re in the wrong job . They seem to want to take you out of your character and that’s not me. I’m going to do it the right way . I hope the CEO take some action immediately . If they don’t do nothing about this immediately, they’re going to mess with the wrong person and it’s not going to turn out good . We go there to buy groceries . Not to have to have your guard up . It’s ridiculous . At times I avoid some of the cashiers just to go to the next person even if the line is long . , No shouldn’t have to go through shop for food . No one comes to shop to be looking for a fight . Very sad ? .. and I also noticed Foodtown wants to be blind to this . Most owners will reply to reviews and come back with a comment apology or something . Saying we will make some changes .But they don’t say anything . Smh

I recently had a deeply unsettling experience at Super Foodtown that left me questioning the professionalism and integrity of the staff. A fellow customer falsely accused me of smoking on the premises, prompting the staff to confront me aggressively while I was using the bathroom. Not only did they fail to investigate the situation properly or hear my side of the story, but they also interrupted me in a private moment to harass me. This lack of respect for customers' privacy and the rush to judgment is unacceptable. I expected better from a reputable establishment like Super Foodtown. I hope they take this feedback seriously and implement measures to ensure such incidents are handled more thoughtfully in the future.

Why are random, multiple, people from Foodtown calling customers and threatening to cancel their delivery orders if the customers don't email them their ID cards??? These random people calling the customers are acting like they're trying to steal the customers identification. They have the customers credit card information and now they want to KEEP a copy of the customers ID in their email system. SINCE WHEN DO FOODTOWN KEEP STORED COPIES OF CUSTOMERS IDENTIFICATION IN THEIR EMAIL SYSTEM????? Like they're trying to steal the customers identification!!

Bought a Turkey and cheese sandwich on a roll with mayo that costs me $10.99. Astounding! Wasn't worth it! Not nearly enough meat or cheese. Lettuce and tomato not included. Never again!!

The Super Foodtown could be a real neighborhood asset due to its wide selection of food items; however, I patronize Trader Joe's instead for its predictable and reasonable pricing, typically quality items, fast check-out lines, friendly crew members, and accessible captains aka managers.Oftentimes, SFT's pricing is duplicitous. It's not uncommon for items to be rung up at a higher price than that posted on the shelves. Some older items are sold rather than pulled from the shelves. Prices for subpar foods made by big brands like Kraft are often way higher than the healthier TJ dupe. The wait times in line often exceed those of waiting in the fast, but lengthy lines at TJ. The SFT staff's demeanor is meh in comparison. For these reasons, I do not go to SFT even in emergencies. The most recent renovation seems like lipstick was slapped on a pig. How I miss the old Pathmark!I value my money and time. As a result, I support establishments that do so as well, even if that means lugging home brown bags from the Spring St, City Pointe, or Court St. TJs.For those who complain about the SFT management, the higher-ups from local supermarkets used to regularly meet at Restoration Plaza; perhaps, you can have your voice heard at the meeting if it still takes place.

This food town is one of my favorite stores , but me and my family will stop supporting this store as I feel very disrespected by the manager Joe ,he is very racist against black ppl and very belligerent when talking to him about anything ,customers come here 3-4 times a month. And when any customer wants to make a complaint, they’re told there’s nothing they can do because this is joes store and that totally unacceptable ,

They’ve got what you need, but the produce i buy from here (esp fruit) is consistently moldy and way past freshness.
