My favorite place to drop off laundry! They are so attentive to my clothes always. 2 ladies work here and both are so lovely and welcoming. After dropping off my laundry almost a week ago and having worked late nights unable to pick up, I was just able to make it at 7:57pm and she unlocked the door and let me pick up my laundry. No rush no fuss! Even took the time to show me and hand bag a pair of leather pants she didn't feel comfy putting in the dryer. 10s always for these women!!

The washers do not fill up with water. I used a $3.25 washer (+$1 for an extra wash and rinse). A little bit of water and suds came into the washer and there was no additional water in the machine. I waited five minutes thinking there would be another run of water but there was not. I let the attendant know and she said she’d let the owner know. Ten minutes later the owner comes in, looks at the machine and the ones next to it and asked if I had time to wash them in another machine. I said I did and waited for the first machine to complete a whole cycle. I moved my clothes to another washer and it was the exact same. The owner asks me “How’s it looking?” I respond that it looks the same and she asks if I’d like to use another washer. Of course I don’t want to waste anymore of my time. I just let my machine run. I truly don’t believe that wet clothes tumbling in a machine (without additional water) equates to washing clothes and getting them clean. I am confident in that because when I took my clothes out of the first washer they did not smell or feel clean and I’d added detergent in both wash cycles. This was a waste of time and money. Lesson learned.

the main issue is NO HOT WATER even if you have it pressed on the machine and the machines do not fill up with enough water (I fill up the machines halfway with cloths, never to the top)So you just have wet cloths flopping around which doesn’t clean the cloths at allI’ve asked them about it multiple times and all they say is sorryIt’s a waste of time and too expensive to not have your cloths actually cleaned.Will not be coming back, will be going a few blocks up where the machines are newer and maintained better

I’ve been using the drop off service at he ENY location since this laundromat opened. The workers constantly make mistakes losing my clothes or putting other people clothes in my bag as well. I’ve have multiple situations also one with my work uniform being stolen. I paid 270+ for a pair of Gucci socks I dropped my clothes off when I got it back a sock was missing. I’ve been asking to speak to the owner nobody can contact her also the worker who washed my clothes asked me how long I had my sock’s instead of coming to a conclusion she rather argue with me I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND LETTING THE EAST NEW YORK LOCATION WAS YOUR CLOTHES

I just used a different location for the first time-- the one on Tompkins Ave-- and it was GREAT! I am SO HYPED to have such a great laundry service so close to home. I did drop-off and my stuff was ready the next day: clean, smelled good, well folded, and affordable! My quite large load was only $20. I didn't realize this until it was too late for this wash, but they even have different options for soap-- including plant-based!

I use this company pick up services for my laundry for about 3 months, was great at first now the service less than expected. I order pick ups my clothes never get picked up. Also contact the drivers they don't respond. When begin the service they meet me in the lobby for my pick up, now it "I'm outside". Where the professionalism?

The wash was done well but the delivery service, communication and payment process was horrible. Overall not worth it, I'd save yourself the headache. Particularly for same-day. Every point of the process something else went wrong.tldr; Poor communication with me, poor communication at the shop, no offer to respect the original price I was given, or offer to compensate in a different way for the run-around. I'm extremely disappointed.I had a bit of a particular item that I needed same day (blanket I needed to use that night) so I called in and was assured that this item would be done same-day. I asked about the hand-off and they said they could bring a bag, they did not, I ended up providing one. Later that night when I didn't receive my clothes, I called back to find they had went to a different store. I called the other store, explained the situation, and they said "I must have done something wrong." I tried to just pay for the service with the link given earlier and it didn't work, asked for them to just resend it and was told no, then my card was put in wrong, I just decided to call it a night. When I got up the next morning, I realized there was another text with a new price, apparently there had been an added charge and when I called again about this I was met with the same attitude. At any point this could have been cleared up, or simply easier, and it wasn't.I really try to not leave bad reviews but I was searching for a good trustworthy spot and would have appreciated a bit of a warning to not choose this place if I needed anything handled with care or done same-day.EDIT: The below response is misleading. My order was not delivered the same day and they were only attentive after this review was posted. Hope this gets solved in the future.

I moved to the neighborhood from abroad and had no clue how laundromats worked here. The staff at Stuy Wash N Dry was super patient, nice and explained everything I needed to know. I’ve now been coming to wash my clothes on a weekly basis for almost a year and I’m very happy. Everyone is always smiling and the place is clean. Thanks :)

I am a frequent customer meaning I do laundry here almost weekly but mostly bi weekly. I not only wash 4+ loads each time but I always select the extra wash + extra rinse as well as I always buy my detergent + softness and scented beads etc from them although I could get these things at target or any discount store.I washed my delicate clothes in a large washer (the middle one) and my clothes came out more damn than normal. It was already time for the last wash so I couldn't exactly wash it again. I then separated it in half into two dryers. The dryer was on high for 45 mins and my clothes were cold and soaking wet after. At this point it was time for closing so I couldn't just throw it into another dryer. The worker was gentleman enough to help me lift the clothes (bc they were heavy) and place them into a bag for safe keeping until I could speak to the owner the next day.I came back the next night around the time of the last wash (7:15) after a long 14 hour work/school day. The manager wasn't very unapologetic and didn't offer to let me wash my clothes for free when I wasted money + soap + time to wash. She only offered that I pay to wash them myself (and buy more soap of course) and that she would pay to dry them. Drying them isn't even more than about $1.50 when I paid $8-9 to wash them + dry them. I'm a bit annoyed at the solution of this.Also a few months ago I tried the drop off option and everything was clean, nicely folded + fresh MINUS a few articles I'd clothing that were missing for months. I came back each time I washed to ask for the items and no one could ever find it. Then one day I came back and a lady (I wish I knew her name) went above and beyond until she found them for me. For whatever reason they were completely separated from my other loads of laundry. That made me not ever use their drop off service again. No one really seemed to care that I repeatedly asked for it except that one worker.

I get my laundry picked up and dropped off once a week for about a year now, with stuy wash & dry. I’m obsessed! They are professional, prompt, clean and organized. My clothes are always smelling amazing! I love that you can choose the detergent and dryer sheets you want. Everyone is helpful and friendly when you call. I always have a great experience with them!

I have used fluff and fold and also pick up and drop off services and everything is always great. I love the cleaning job they do but also my clothes are always so neatly and nicely folded. The ladies that work behind the counter make me feel at home when I've walked in and washed on my own! I'd recommend any day of the week!

Dirty!!! Dirty!! Dirty! This place has declined in service and cleanliness. Machines look as if they have not been cleaned or wiped down in months. And with covid the door handles should be wiped and sanitized at the least.There is dust on the inside and outside of the washers. I only stayed here because I didnt have time to make it to another laundromat, and needed my clothes tonight. I was cautious taking my clothes from the washer as I didn't want clean clothes to touch the dirt surrounding or fall on the dusty floor. Also another customer was complaining about the smell of the machines which I noticed also.I started coming here when they first opened it was great, very clean and friendly staff. I have been washing at a different place since August 2021... came back and it's in terrible condition.I would love to have a local laundromat to frequent but in this current condition I sadly won't be returning.Hopefully management will address this matter.
