Aw man this is my new Favorite spot to feel like home away from home!❤️ Being from South Carolina and living here in Brooklyn for 21 years now, SoulBK and the people there made me feel like I was with Family, so I’m letting the world know they should go there too to experience a Down South-but definitely Broklyn-vibe!?

Always have a great time here. The happy hour menu on Friday- jerk chicken, peas and rice, salad- $10. So worth it. Rum punch is awesome. The owner/hostess Rose is such a pleasure. She's friendly and very attentive. Also very open to customer feedback. The dj always has the place on their feet. I even hosted my bday party here in 2023. Great food, service and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

Sat at the bar for drinks & appetizers, Andre(?), the bartender was very friendly. The catfish fingers/seasoned fries were plentiful and the drinks were on point. the atmosphere was amazing and the 90s r&b they were rocking was a delight to hear.

Since I made reservations for 10 people I expected better preparation. Short staffing made things very disappointing for our group. The entres need to be excluded. Not one of them were complete. I love the concept but this was a fail for us. Please do better

This review isn't for soul but it is for my server. It's Super Bowl night my moms birthday and just a busy night. VANOILA VANNY whatever her name is was so accommodating even tho she had to deal With literally every table in here. I appreciate her and i will try this place again on a less busier night. It's nice in here the lights aren't too bright the music was loud but didn't remain loud i have epilepsy so ambience means a lot to me as far as lights and noise. If ur looking for upscale go elsewhere but this place IS A VIBE !!! 3 stars for the food 5 stars for VANNY

We went to Soul BK on Sunday found a Parking spot right away. We had a very nice time. The music was on point and the crowd was ready to party and they were very friendly. First Lady Rose, DJ Cut em loose Bruce and staff was very welcoming. I love the setting. I'm looking forward to dining there on my next visit.

This place employs at least one overzealous bouncer who clearly doesn't understand the atmosphere/ crowd that attends the danceparty events taking place. He has harassed my date and myself to go outside as we were patently waiting for a Lyft to arrive, down to two minutes at the end of the night on New Year's day. In the recent past there's been confusion over the type of venues taking place (hip hop, reggae, house, etc). Kitchen food is not always available during the supposed designated hours. This establishment claims to be different from the last as Nostrand Social, which seems abruptly have closed down. However, it appears that it's under the same ownership and merely changed the name.

Enjoyed their Jazz Night with friends on Taco Tuesdays. The Sangria and Rum Punch cocktails were slammin! Our group enjoyed an assortment of shared appetizers like the Chicken and Shrimp Tacos, Catfish Fingers, Calamari, Sweet Chili Wings, Macaroni &Cheese and the best Sweet Potato Fries I've ever had!!! The band was great, an electic vibe of modern and contemporary jazz. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return. Shout outs to our lovely server Shay and the entire staff??
