Hands down my favorite place to workout in NYC. Session has cultivated such a cool, fun and supportive community and really welcomes and invites athletes of all levels of experience to join. They play the best music, and the people who workout there bring a great level of energy to classes and cheer you on. I’d recommend Session to everyone and anyone who enjoys strength training or is even a little bit curious! GO THERE!

I took my first Session class today and it totally exceeded my expectations. I'm sometimes weary about HIIT based classes, but Coach Britt's class got me hitting every body part, working what felt like every muscle, and I'm already feeling the work I put in. I also loved the way she explained each move and helped with necessary adjustments. And her playlist was ! 10/10 can't wait to come again!

Great studio, amazing coaches and different classes every day. Coaches actively make sure you are doing the right exercises, make sure you level up and are always on hand to provide guidance. Front staff are also amazing

Session is so great! I go to both locations and it’s been the only gym that has consistently kept me coming back 4-5 times a week. All of the coaches are super knowledgeable and encouraging. I leave every class exhausted but always looking forward to the following week!

Honestly this is the only gym in South Williamsburg worth your time. The coaches, ops team, and the classes are all so great. I highly recommend if you are looking to get a workout into your weekly routine.

I have been going to sessions consistently for around 2 months now and I am so thankful I found this gym. I like that they have workouts as early as 6 am so that I can go before work! Every workout is completely different than the last and I always feel so good about myself after I leave. The exercises are fun too they have a lot of different equipment. I like the upbeat music they play. My favorite part is that the instructors are ALL incredibly focused and check/correct everyone’s form. As someone who has a previous knee injury this is extremely important to me. There is no pressure to lift heavier than what you can handle. The workouts fly by and the community is extremely friendly and welcoming. This is a great place for novice to advanced exercise enthusiasts. Thank you so much sessions! My confidence and body haven’t looked this great in years (:

I started going to session in Feb 2023 and was INSTANTLY HOOKED! This place is so welcoming to all levels. As a beginner in strength training, I am so pleased with the studios affect on my physical and mental health. The instructors are all so helpful, kind and most of all MOTIVATING!! Book a class you will not regret it!

Love love love! My favorite spot to workout at. Not only are the workouts amazing, but they’ve really created a great community where everyone feels accepted and like family. The music is 10/10, front desk are welcoming, and I’ve made a bunch of friends here!

can't say enough good things. the coaches are great - motivating and knowledgeable with playlists that getcha goin'. and special 5 star shoutout to Nico because i've been doing personal training with him since january and i feel stronger than ever. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.

Such a great class with Taylor! For someone who’s not necessarily in shape, I was a bit nervous, but it was very accommodating. I was able to go at my own pace/level and receive great guidance from the coach (Taylor). Will definitely be back!

Oscar’s energy made my first time here so great! Introduced himself right away and asked ahead of time about any injuries. Perfect pace and just the right amount of people in class for the 3 stations with enough space in between to comfortably workout. They hand out sanitizing wipes to wipe down your station in between switching rounds. Oscar was super motivating and assisting everyone’s form throughout the entire class - will definitely be back?

I’ve tried just about every fitness studio in the area and Session is hands down the best all around. Each movement/exercise can be modified to whatever level you are at so you can push yourself to your max. The workouts are amazing and always changing to keep your body guessing. I would say that the biggest differentiator is the staff (both the coaches and studio managers). Each time you enter the studio you are greeted by the session team and immediately know you are in good hands. Although each coach brings a slightly different approach to class - I guarantee they are all top tier when it comes to level of fitness expertise. If you are looking to better yourself both physically and mentally - Session is the perfect place for you.

10/10 gym. The workouts are challenging and approachable, and I always leave feeling great, mentally and physically. The instructors truly *make* this gym. They are some of the best I’ve ever encountered in a group fitness setting - they provide detailed instructions and helpful, individualized adjustments throughout the class. A1 playlists too.The workouts are always well organized… everything is set up well so you don’t have to run around for equipment mid-class. The board lists all the moves and is up for the duration of the class so that you know exactly what to do even if you forget. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. And sometimes there are even doggos!!So happy to have them in the neighborhood!!

Absolute best HIIT class in the city. The instructors are so nice, helpful, willing to sit with you and adjust the movements to what works best for you! They are so friendly and energetic! I cancelled classpass and got myself a membership there because it’s making me so happy and now I love to work out! ?
