I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Select Diagnostic Center in NYC, specifically with Dr. Kashanian. From the moment I interacted with him, his rudeness was apparent. I had chosen my own gynecologist, but Dr. Kashanian criticized my decision, stating that he couldn’t provide me with any answers because of it. His refusal to answer my questions and his condescending behavior made me feel disrespected, as though I had no right to choose my own doctor.
When I voiced my concerns, his response was dismissive, claiming that he is an “expert.” This attitude only confirmed what type of character he has—someone who believes he’s infallible, despite showing up late to work and treating patients poorly. The diagnostic center itself is the smallest I’ve ever seen, further adding to the sense of unprofessionalism.
To make matters worse, I left without any conclusive information about my health. They told me they would send the results to my doctor, leaving me in the dark about my condition. It’s clear that they don’t respect their patients’ right to choose their own path of care—essentially, it’s “your body, my choice” for them. Avoid this place if you value being treated with dignity and respect.

Doctor Kashinyan and his staff is just amazing! First they did a miracle accommodating my request on a very short notice, second, when I had doubts, doctor made a few phone calls and clarified the situation for me. Everyone is sympathizing, helpful, polite and understanding, they explained the procedures and made me feel less stressed. Of course there are people who are forever unhappy with everything regardless of how helpful, professional or knowledgeable the staff is, they always leave bad reviews, - I went there once and will recommend them forever to everyone looking for professional diagnostic service!

I had to come here for a procedure. I was given an appointment time and was not let into the room until three hours later. Before the procedure the doctor was rude and told me that the procedure may be painful but I will not be able to do anything about it. When the procedure was finished I asked a simple question and was rudely brushed off. This office should cease to exist. It is unprofessional in every way.

My visit to this office was 11/17/23. I have been a regular customer for 4 years and have my breasts checked every year. I have private insurance, I make appointment two weeks in advance. I think this is enough time to check my insurance. But I come and every time it’s the same thing - they don’t know or accept my insurance. I have to sit and wait for a long time while they find out about my insurance. However , as I wrote above, I am a regular customer and holder of the same insurance. Very rude women on the front desk. In addition, after the visit they pushed me into the waiting room without providing the result. To my question, how is my examination overall - is everything the same or are there any changes, can I talk to the doctor. They answered me rudely, you will find out the result from your doctor who referred me. In response to my request, please, I want to get my medical records for the all period or at least 2 years - they told me that they are updating the program, call in 10 days. And to be honest, I'm not sure that this is true. I am very upset by such indifference to my patients. The doctor Farzam Kashania didn’t even bother to see me; they refused to provide me with my medical records as well as the examination results. I have private insurance, I pay a lot of money to be treated so disrespectfully. I will look for another doctor and another place where you will be given attention and not thrown out the door. A very unpleasant experience. I don’t recommend it to anyone, look for another place

I've been going to this office for more than 5 years, and I'd like to say thank you to the doctor and his amazing medical assistants, nurses and receptionists. I've always been treated with respect, attention and the highest level of professionalism.

Many thanks to Dr. Kashinyan for a painless breast biopsy in September 2022. Initially, I was very afraid, but the doctor was very sympathetic and understanding about my experiences. He reassured me and assured me that everything would go well. After his words, I relaxed and in fact everything went painlessly. Very humane, kind doctor and a very good person! May God thank you for your kindness to people!
