I give this branch 2 stars as it’s better than overall branches.Santander Bank overall is the worst bank as they fail in overall banking.My ex husband was able to get a Heloc loan in both his name and unbeknownst me my name. Subsequently he changed the Heloc account as soon as the loan was available.Upon learning of this fraud I contacted their loan department and they refused to take a fraud complaint. It’s been 3 years n still fighting this bank. It’s unbelievable that they will not take a fraud complaint and action.I only had a small joint checking account which may ex husband used to fraudulently get a 100. K loan successfully when in fact I had no knowledge of this fraud until I received info of balance in the mail. 100,000 deposited into joint checking then withdrawn immediately to pay gambling debts to a Atlantic City Casino.. how can this happen , well it did , now they will face a lawsuit.In addition while I had my checking account I had a credit card. I used it and it’s in a promotion.However I will he closing down the CC.., the joint account has to remain open while I file my lawsuit. I left &20. Must keep it open for now due to my complaints.On the credit card 1.5 % cash back.. it’s a gimmick like anything else they do.I noticed 3 charges of 83. & 59, & another for 94. And 78. All to burger fast food purchased done online.I never made these charges. I don’t eat fast food or meat.Well long story after shutting down my card and filing a claim I was denied reimbursement as fraud .. they did not give me the courtesy as 99.% of my charges were to specific places.. no small charges .Long story they refused a fraud CC claim.This is unbelievable- any idiot or HACKER can get around this bank ,my ex husband, not too bright but knew my private information giving him the power to commit fraud. They don’t want to believe this.The CC Card charges are fraudulent but they refuse to help me.Bottom line the worst unsafe bank of all banks in NYC..shame on them ..CONSUMERS BEWARE - do not BANK with Santander where ever you are. U will regret it with your life !!!-1 ???????

I went in to this branch on Ave U on a Saturday morning without an appointment at 12pm. The bank manger took me in her office and opened my account. Usually they would turn me away and tell me to make an appointment. I was just lucky because her 11am appointment never showed up. It took about 1.5 hours to complete all the paperwork and answer all the questions needed for a business account. She seemed to know most of her customers by name. Thank you for taking the time for me.

Absolutely ridiculous policy to close an account - With many banks now, you can simply walk up to a teller, and close the account without any hassle. With Santander, the bank requires you to see a bank manager. Wait time is ridiculously long. Waited over 45 minutes plus just to close my account. I will never bank at Santander again. There must be more efficient ways of banking in 2021.

Very bad branch. Non-professionals work here. I was there 04/22/2021. I made a preliminary appointment and warned about the volume of operations that need to be done for me. Nevertheless, after 15 minutes I was been kicked out of the bank saying that my time was over and they had not to work with the next client. I needed to close my account and transfer money to my account in another bank. So one employee did not know how to do it at all and transferred me to another employee, who made a lot of mistakes in the Transfer's Application, including not even writing the Bank Code where the money is being transferred. I saved this Application. I would like to show it to the bank's management.

I called Santander to attain some bank statements from previous years to resolve my mothers estate with my siblings. I called to request the statements that weren't available through online banking be sent. I stayed on the phone for 45 minutes as the rep was trying to order the statements. She kept returning to check to see if I was there, and went back to ordering (so I thought). After 45 minutes, I was disconnected from the call. I called back and waited another 20 minutes to get a rep who immediately told me that I would have to pay $6 per statement to send them. This is despite that fact that they constantly encouraged me to convert to paperless billing. They are turning paperless statements into a trap to charge people. Service horrible! policy horrible! Changing banks

did called to know about notary validity & time so the lady could not know what they do for living and asked my name & phone to call me back ..After two days I called again & different lady answered NO SORRY for anythings & she told me Yes , we do till 12-4pm ..So I went 12:30 & the branch is closed!! So,i was wondering did i called 99cent store by mistake?Or they just dont care ???
