I had followed Salt Lizard on Instagram for quite sometime and finally had the opportunity to visit the store. The owners are incredibly friendly, the store is spacious with abundant natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Unlike typical antique stores, Salt Lizard's curated selection eliminates the digging through dusty junk without having a "Do not touch!" vibe. The prices are within reach, offering a range of fine antiques from furniture to tableware and rugs. A gem for antique enthusiasts!

I LOVE this store! There is so much to see and the floor is laid out beautifully for browsing and finding your favorite pieces and there are a lot of them - chairs, sofas, fine art, dishes, crystal and on and on. Great selection of beautiful mirrors in all sizes to fit any space. There are many unique items that make wonderful gifts... if you can part with them after you purchase.

Salt Lizard is the best! A fantastic, lovely, spectacular and exciting adventure of a store. I've bought a number of things at Salt Lizard over the last year. Antique standing lamps, side tables, seating, mirrors, dressers, rugs, victorian taxidermy - they have so many nice things. Everything is clean, in great condition and beautifully displayed. Rita and Lizzie are helpful, fun and creative store owners. If you are looking for something with character for your home you should go!

This shop is truly a hidden gem! I don’t often write reviews but this place is seriously special. It has a large selection of unique and stylish furniture and art pieces that I haven’t seen anywhere else. The owners are there on the floor to advise. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about their craft, and the curation of their collection is truly impressive. I have made several purchases here already and hope to make many more. Even if you aren’t looking for something specific it’s a great place to check out for inspiration. You won’t be disappointed!

I stopped by just wandering around the neighborhood and ended up leaving with a sofa. This place has more than just mid century, or second hand 80’s which is kind of the common trend for vintage stores. So if you need that perfect thing, it’s probably here. The lady working was super nice, and told me the history of every piece I asked about.

I absolutely love this place! I live in the neighborhood and love antiquing, especially on weekends. The selection here is incredible and the ladies are stunning! I’ve purchased great gifts for friends and most recently decided to splurge on myself for the holidays. I bought this decadent punch bowl with matching glasses to use during my next house party (and I know it will spark up great conversation amongst my guests). Each time I walk into the store, I see new pieces that take my breath away. Rita and Lizzie have excellent taste and great customer service. The prices are affordable and everything is so unique. Williamsburg is so lucky to have this local gem! Check it out and find some hidden treasure!

I've bought a few great pieces from Salt Lizard. Each piece has been unique and has added to the character of my apartment beautifully. Whatever I need for my place, I'm pretty sure I'll find it there.Update: I've bought some great things over the past few weeks. Pictures added. I'm planning on shopping there for some holiday gifts!

Such a great store and worth a trip to explore and chat to the proprietors as well as find that special unique item for your home - I love this neighborhood and Salt Lizard is great example and look forward to coming back
