DIAMOND IS A DIAMONDDDD I wanted a dimensional but bright blonde and that is exactly what I got!!! She treated me like a queen, gave me all the education and product recs I needed to keep my hair healthy at home, and was just fun to hang out with while I sat in the chair for a few hours. The rest of the salon staff was also extremely friendly and hospitable, I have definitely found my new salon home in Brooklyn!

i’ve come for a cut with jennifer and a full foil with laura and they’ve both been AMAZING. i recently moved here and was worried i’d have to spend ages and lots of $$$ sifting through bad hairdressers before i found one i helped with, but the spot quickly became my go-to. it’s worth the money, they’re detail oriented and kind. the myrtle location has a lovely family feel, they’re all friends and it makes it even better! can’t recommend it enough:)

Diamond is a godsend. They took the time to carefully hear me out, and I immediately knew she was going to make sure I left achieving exactly what I was hoping for. Throughout the entire process, she was kind, overwhelmingly considerate, and explained each detail to me. I left feeling a degree of confidence I hadn't had for the first time in a while! Would recommend to absolutely anyone looking for a color expert and an emotional pick me up.

Uzma cut my hair too short, cut my bangs too short, and gave me a style I did not ask for. My requested haircut was *extremely* simple, literally just straight across with no layers. She tried to tell me she did what I asked (she 100% didn't).
I usually cut my bangs myself, and after Uzma, I was reminded why I do. When I cut my bangs they don't have that too-blunt-I-just-got-a-haircut look. Uzma cut them too short (which is the worst with bangs!!!) and too bluntly. It was obvious that she knew she had messed up the length of the bangs and then spun it like, "now you get to see your eyebrows!" girl no, not what I said. Disrespectful to try and trick me.
On top of all that, Uzma literally rolled her eyes when I told her what shampoo I use after she asked. Who would want to work with someone that rude and condescending??
I never write reviews, but Uzma was just really unwelcoming. Didn't listen, wasn't nice, and certainly not worth $100!!! Even her shampooing was not pleasant! The rest of the salon, and the other stylists, are all great. Adriana- incredible! Just not Uzma, sorry girl. It was ultimately her attitude, not haircut, that upset me the most. Will never be booking with her.
