Always long lines at the pharmacy. It’s 9:20 and the pharmacy is supposed to be open. There are people waiting on line and no one working at the pharmacy. To make matters worse I’m standing online for my meds they’re not open but I just received an automated call from them saying my meds are ready for pickup. Smh Get your prescriptions somewhere else. Extremely mismanaged.

The worse pharmacy. They tell you come back in an hour for your prescription, they will take your phone number wouldn’t call you. when you go back still wouldn’t be ready. Your doc will give you a refill prescription they keep it. They wouldn’t call you to come get it. The worse

An hour ago, I visited this Rite Aide pharmacy. I waited in the long pick-up line for medication for over an hour. It was time for me to be seen. I walked to the counter and was told by one of the two teen girls that "my line is closed, because it is late and it is time for me to go home". I was beyond upset with her and 'friend co-worker" who showed no form of decorum and professionalism. The teen girl is African-American female with long light color braids in her hair. Her behavior was beyond atrocious. As I am waiting on the line, I observed this same teen girl, was a wearing a scarf wrapped around her head (and I was also told by other family members that is apart of her work attire), as she continuously drank a bottle of juice (which I was also told that she continuously eats at the register) and chatted it up with her co-worker. They both displayed no sense of urgency to provide proper service to the customers including myself as we all waited. The others customers were also beyond frustrated with her actions. When I finally got the to the counter, the teen girl was still as the counter assisting her co-worker despite her closing the register. I would like to be contacted by someone from the corporate office to address this matter. My family members also has reported interacting with this same teen girl about her appearance at the job and her very poor professionalism. This is beyond upsetting. I am for young people to doing something positive for themselves however she is casting a very poor aura on this store.

I use to work at a pharmacy so I understand that the lines can get long. But this store is ridiculous! It needs more staff. When we were short at my old job one person would stop counting pills and help at the register. Multitask!.. I use to look up patients and cash them out 2 at a time. I also was able to process drop off prescriptions while ringing up another customer. I understand that I was a fast paced worker. So my suggestion is to hire more people. It's a busy location and these people move slower than a turtle

I called to speak with the pharmacist and was taken aback by her manners. She was very rude and disrespectful. I am hospital discharge planner/ nurse. I called to get some information on 2 medications. She had the line open while she was making rude comments ?

Poor management.Need more staff. They are overwhelmed. They also need the right training including the pharmacist. It is not fair to the community and to your staff.

If I could give the Flatlands store less than zero I would. One of my neighbors needs to change pharmacies and wanted one with delivery service. I waited 12 minutes on my first call before someone answered and almost 30 minutes previously before hanging up. The person that answered was unfriendly and not very helpful. It left me feeling not sure if to use this establishment.

Never filling here again. The pharmacy does something wrong literally every single time and you’ll end up with delays getting your medication. Most of the staff has poor customer service and just don’t know anything that’s going on. I always have to go back and forth between them and my doctors office, just to confirm that the error is with the pharmacy, not the doctor. Nothing is ever right here

I asked my primary care doctor to resend the other two prescriptions originally sent to Rite Aid by the hospital, over to Walgreens (as Walgreens couldn't reach anyone at Rite Aid to transfer it). But now, my insurance won't process it because its too early. Apparently they believe the prescriptions sent to Rite Aid originally were filled.Today, miraculous, 3:28pm the Brooklyn location (7812 Flatlands ave) answered the phone. The woman I spoke with said I have no prescriptions with Rite Aid. Really??? I repeated my information and told her on Sunday they confirmed I had 3 prescription and i picked up one... she insisted i have no other prescriptions with they're, or any other Rite Aid location.I called Walgreens again and explained what I was told. The pharmacist asked for the numbers to the Brooklyn and Bronx (950-960 Southern blvd) locations. An hour later, Walgreens calls and says "the number in Brooklyn had me on hold for 30 mins and the Bronx won't answer."From Brooklyn, I again have to ask someone to travel to the Bronx location to physically speak to someone. 7:26pm, the woman at the drop off counter says "I see the medication but you have no refills".I never picked up the original prescription so I don't need a refill, I need the original. The young lady asks my friend to step over to the pick counter and ask the pharmacist. The pharmacist says "we needed more information from the doctor, and the doctor never sent it back" Ok, now that we know you have my prescriptions, can you cancel it out of your system so my insurance will pay for it at another pharmacy? Pharmacist says "we never billed it".. Ok, but you seem to be holding it in some way why my insurance thinks I'm requesting an early refill."tell your insurance to call us if they claim they paid us for it"How? No one answers the phone. The pharmacist then walked away stating she is busy and my friend was too embarrassed to continue to conversation. Now, I need to pay cash for a prescription I never got because the hospital made the horrible mistake of sending my prescriptions to Rite Aid. I'm on other medications and this point, I would never trust Rite Aid to safely fill any drug for me ever.Good Evening Pam, I called the 800 number too late this evening and it was closed. I will call tomorrow as my last resort of getting Rite Aid to please release my prescriptions.
